EASY CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE



Easy Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge image

An incredibly delicious treat that comes together in a flash!

1 can sweetened condensed milk ((14oz))
12 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
1 ½ cups peanut butter
Optional: peanuts & chocolate chips for topping

Steps:

  • Line an 8x8 pan with foil.
  • Combine sweetened condensed milk & chocolate chips in a large bowl. Microwave 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add in peanut butter stir until smooth.
  • Top with desired toppings and refrigerate 1 hour.
  • Lift out foil and cut into squares.

I am a substitute teacher and found this fudge recipe in a very old book in our school library. It was written before microwaves, so I modified it to make a quick treat. The faculty and staff gave it rave reviews. -Peggy Key, Grant, Alabama

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
1 package (12 ounces) butterscotch chips
1-1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
2/3 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped salted peanuts

Steps:

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the milk, chips and marshmallows. Microwave, uncovered, at 80% power for 3 minutes or until chips and marshmallows are melted, stirring frequently. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla until combined. Fold in the peanuts., Pour into an 11x7-in. pan coated with cooking spray. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm. Cut into squares. Store in the refrigerator.

3 cups white sugar
1 cup evaporated milk
¼ cup cocoa
½ cup peanut butter
1 tablespoon margarine
1 tablespoon butter

Steps:

  • Butter one 9x9 inch pan.
  • Combine the sugar, evaporated milk and cocoa in saucepan. Stir over high heat until mixture comes to a rolling boil. Lower heat to medium and continue cooking to a soft ball stage.
  • Remove from heat, add peanut butter and margarine. Beat by hand until creamy; pour into prepared pan. Allow to cool and cut into squares.

3/4 cup butter
14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
3 tablespoons milk
1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (12 ounce) package milk chocolate chips
1 (12 ounce) package peanut butter chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow cream
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 lb walnuts, coarsely chopped

Steps:

  • Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat; stir in sweetened condensed milk and milk.
  • Add chips, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth.
  • Remove from heat; stir in marshmallow cream and extracts.
  • Stir in walnuts.
  • Pour into a buttered 15" x 12" pan or two 9" x9" pans.
  • Chill.
  • Cut into squares.
  • Store in refrigerator.

2 8-oz. pkg. buttercscotch flavored chips
14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
1/4 lb mini marshmallows
1/2 c peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/6 tsp salt
candird cherries

Steps:

  • 1. Combine butterscotch chips and sweetened condensed milk. Add marshmallows in top of double boiler. Place over boiling water and stir occasionally, until melted and smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter, vanilla and salt. Pour into buttered 8-inch square pan. Chill until almost firm. Cut into squares. Press quarter piece of cherry on each piece. Makes 2 1/4 pounds.
