MICROWAVE PLAY DOUGH
My mother visited us in March and we wanted to do playdough for my son. But we wanted a recipe made in the microwave. I found this one on this site : http://www.canadianparents.com It's really easy to do.

BEST EVER MICROWAVE PLAY DOUGH
I went to a local play group with my toddler daughter, and we enjoyed playing with the (what I thought was commercial) play dough there. I wondered how they managed to afford such large quantities. The answer was - it was home made! It's a fantastic recipe, far better than any other I've tried. Hope you enjoy it.

THE BEST HOMEMADE PLAYDOUGH EVER
I got this recipe from astay-at-home mom's blog named Robin's song. It is far superior to any storebought. I make the recipe with a third of these measurements because it is a huge batch of just one color. I put a drop of peppermint extract in, it covers any floury, pasty smell. Use regular table salt for this, once I only had kosher salt in the house and the dough was a bit grainy. Please note, this is safe and non-toxic but not edible playdough.

Steps:
- Place all ingredients into a large saucepan and cook over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, until the dough pulls away from the sides of the pan and gets too thick to stir (about 10-15 minutes). Remove from heat and let cool until it can be handled. Place on counter or wax paper and knead several times until smooth. Store in an air-tight container.
