Number Of Ingredients 8

1 cup corn syrup
2/3 cup brown sugar
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup chopped pecans
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
pastry for 18 medium tart shells (or use frozen tart shells)

Steps:

  • Line tart tins with pastry. Mix syrup and brown sugar in a saucepan and cook gently over direct heat for 5 minutes. Cool slightly and stir into the beaten eggs. Add remaining ingredients and fill the unbaked tart shells 2/3 full. Bake in a 425 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until set.

2 large eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
4 Tblsps rich milk (2 Tblsps of Milk, 2 Tblsps of white vinegar)
Maple syrup to taste
2 Heaping tablespoons of butter
Pie dough for two nine inch pie crusts

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees, (300 degrees if using dark pans). Roll out Pie crusts Cut out 4" rounds and fit into muffin tins. Mix together all ingredients except butter. Fill pie shells 3/4 full. Dot each tart with butter. Bake 25 minutes (30 minutes in dark pans)(or longer until crusts are golden brown. Put cookie sheet under to catch spills.

36 miniature tart shells
36 rosebuds

Steps:

  • Pre-cook tart shells as directed on package.
  • Melt the toffee, milk and butter in microwave in container with spout.
  • Fill tart shells.
  • Allow to cool slightly.
  • Top with Rosebud.

2 pkg. (1.9 oz. each) frozen mini phyllo shells (30 shells)
2 pkg. (3.4 oz. each) JELL-O Butterscotch Flavor Instant Pudding
2-1/4 cups cold milk, divided
2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
24 KRAFT Caramels
1/4 tsp. coarse-ground sea salt

Steps:

  • Bake phyllo shells as directed on package; cool completely.
  • Meanwhile, beat pudding mixes and 2 cups milk in medium bowl with whisk 2 min. Stir in COOL WHIP. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  • Microwave caramels and remaining milk in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1-1/2 min., stirring after 45 sec. Stir until caramels are completely melted and sauce is well blended. Cool 10 min.
  • Spoon pudding mixture into phyllo shells just before serving; drizzle with caramel sauce. Sprinkle with salt.

2 cups sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
4 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon salt
½ cup corn syrup
1 ½ cups water
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 tablespoon orange, or other flavored extract
8 drops any color food coloring

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, stir together the sugar and cornstarch. Add the butter, salt, corn syrup and water; mix well. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring to mix in butter. Heat to 275 degrees F (134 degrees C), or until a small amount of syrup dropped from a spoon forms hard but pliable threads.
  • Remove from heat, and stir in the vanilla, flavored extract and food coloring. Pour into a greased 8x8 inch baking dish. When cooled enough to handle, remove candy from the pan, and pull until it loses its shine and becomes stiff. Pull into ropes, and use scissors to cut into 1 inch pieces. Wrap each piece in waxed paper.
