Crispy Baked Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings - these will probably be the simplest and most amazing wings you'll ever make. Generously seasoned with salt and pepper and baked to a crisp perfection!

2 pound chicken wings
2 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon black pepper (freshly ground )
2 teaspoon sea salt
1 tablespoon parsley (fresh, chopped for garnish)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 F degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place all wings in a medium sized bowl. Drizzle the wings with the olive oil and toss well, making sure each wing is coated with a bit of olive oil.
  • Sprinkle the chicken wings with the pepper and salt, and toss well.
  • Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking pan. Bake for about 40 to 45 minutes or until they're golden crisp.
  • Sprinkle with more salt and pepper if preferred and garnish with some chopped parsley.
  • Serve while warm.

Amazing, mind-blowing salt and pepper chicken wings. Green onion, garlic and sesame oil make these the most amazing wings you will ever eat.

3 pounds party wings approx. 36 wings
3 teaspoons salt
4 teaspoons crushed black pepper
4 teaspoons sesame oil
5 cloves garlic chopped
4 green onions diced
chili pepper flakes (optional but the heat is nice!)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  • Combine salt and pepper together in a bowl. Place chicken wings on a lightly oiled baking sheet. Sprinkle the wings with the salt and pepper, then shake on the baking tray to cover completely.
  • Bake for 15 minutes then turn and bake for another 15-20 minutes until crispy and cooked through. We like our wings very crispy.
  • As soon as the wings are close to being done, heat the sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat then add the garlic and onions. (jalapeno as well if you are adding it in.)
  • Cook until the garlic has browned slightly.
  • Remove chicken wings from oven and place in a large bowl.
  • Toss the chicken wings with the garlic oil until completely coated.
  • Place on a serving platter, spooning any leftover garlic oil over the top.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 425˚F (220˚C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, olive oil, corn starch, pepper, and salt and toss with tongs to coat.
  • Transfer the wings to the baking sheet. Bake for 40 minutes, until golden and crispy.
  • Serve immediately.
  • Enjoy!

1 egg
2 spring onions, finely chopped
5 slices fresh ginger
1 teaspoon Shaoxing wine (Chinese rice wine)
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 clove garlic, crushed
½ teaspoon white sugar
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground white pepper
1 ½ pounds skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into small pieces
1 cup sweet potato starch
3 tablespoons sweet potato starch
1 quart vegetable oil for frying
2 cups lettuce leaves
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon ground white pepper

Steps:

  • Whisk egg, spring onions, ginger, Shaoxing wine, soy sauce, garlic, sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon white pepper together in a bowl. Mix in chicken. Let marinate for 20 minutes.
  • Pour 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons sweet potato starch into a shallow bowl.
  • Heat oil to 340 degrees F (170 degrees C) in a large saucepan. Dredge chicken pieces in sweet potato starch; drop gently into the hot oil in batches. Cook until golden on the outside and no longer pink in the center, 2 to 3 minutes per batch. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate using a slotted spoon.
  • Arrange lettuce leaves on a large serving plate. Place fried chicken on the lettuce leaves. Mix 1 tablespoon salt and 1 tablespoon white pepper together in a small bowl; sprinkle over chicken.
