1 pound lean ground beef
1 egg, lightly beaten
3 tablespoons dry bread crumbs
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
1 teaspoon salt
ground black pepper to taste
2 mushrooms, thickly sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil, or as needed

Steps:

  • Preheat an air fryer to 392 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Combine ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, onion, thyme, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Knead and mix thoroughly.
  • Transfer beef mixture to a baking pan and smooth the top. Press mushrooms into the top and coat with olive oil. Place the pan into the air fryer basket and slide into the air fryer.
  • Set air fryer timer for 25 minutes and roast meatloaf until nicely browned.
  • Let meatloaf rest at least 10 minutes before slicing into wedges and serving.

Moist and delicious meatloaf cooked to perfection in an air fryer with a juicy interior and a slightly crispy exterior.

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 tsp. extra virgin olive oil
1/2 small onion, diced
1 lb. ground beef, lean
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 Tbsp. ketchup
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 Tbsp. barbecue sauce

Steps:

  • Line the air fryer basket with aluminum foil and set aside.
  • In a medium skillet over medium heat add the oil and then add the onion and saute until softened, about 5 minutes.
  • Transfer onion to a large mixing bowl. Add ground beef, breadcrumbs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, pepper and egg to the onions. Use your hands to gently mix the ingredients just until incorporated. Be careful not to over mix.
  • Preheat air fryer at 375°F per manufacturer's instructions.
  • Transfer meat to the prepared air fryer basket and shape into a 4×6 inch loaf. Cook at 375°F. for 20 minutes.
  • Remove meatloaf from oven and spread the barbecue sauce on top. Return meatloaf to air fryer and continue to cook at 375°F. for 8-10 more minutes or until a digital thermometer reads 165°F in the center of the loaf.
  • Remove meatloaf from air fryer and let rest for 10-15 minutes before serving.

1 large egg
1/4 cup 2% milk
1/3 cup crushed saltines
3 tablespoons chopped onion
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon rubbed sage
Dash pepper
1/2 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, beat egg. Add the milk, cracker crumbs, onion, salt, sage and pepper. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Preheat air fryer to 325°. Shape into 2 loaves; place in greased air fryer. Cook 20 minutes., Meanwhile, combine ketchup, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce; spoon over meat loaves. Cook until a thermometer reads 160°, 10-15 minutes longer.

Air Fryer Meatloaf combines tangy seasonings and condiments with Panko breadcrumbs. An amazing meatloaf the whole family will love! Cooking it in the air fryer means your meatloaf is super moist, tender, and cooked to perfection!

Number Of Ingredients 12

2 lbs lean ground beef ((85% lean ground beef))
2 large eggs
1 small white onion ((or yellow onion))
1/4 cup whole milk
1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 cup ketchup ((divided into 2 1/2 cup portions))
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp ground mustard
1 tsp each, salt & pepper
1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Steps:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Use a non stick spray or cooking oil and coat a sheet of aluminum foil. (You will need a slightly larger piece than your meatloaf will be as it will sit in the foil with the edges folded up to cradle the meatloaf.)
  • In a large mixing bowl add all the ingredients be sure to reserve 1/2 the ketchup to put on the top of the meatloaf later.
  • Mix the meatloaf mixture thoroughly.
  • Form your meatloaf mixture into a rectangular shape about 2-3 inches thick and place on the aluminum foil folding the edges up to make a pan shape to hold the meatloaf.
  • Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes.
  • Open the air fryer and carefully apply the remaining ketchup on the top of the meatloaf.
  • Cook for an additional 10 minutes at 375°F (190°C). The internal temperature should be at 160-165°F (71-74°C). If not, cover with a small bit of foil and continue cooking until the temperature is brought up.
  • Remove from air fryer and allow to rest and cool slightly, carefully transfer to a serving plate or cutting board, slice, serve and enjoy!
