This is a spicy cheese bread that goes great with grilled meats or a simple salad. It's great sliced thin and lightly toasted too!

1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
2 ½ teaspoons baking powder
¾ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 ½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese
½ cup half-and-half cream
½ cup milk
⅓ cup vegetable oil

Steps:

Preheat an oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan and set aside.
Mix flour, baking powder, salt, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and Cheddar cheese together in a large bowl. Whisk in half-and-half cream, milk, and vegetable just until blended. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes. Cool in the pans for 10 minutes before removing to cool completely on a wire rack.

1 (13.8 ounce) package Pillsbury Pizza Dough
1 (4.5 ounce) can mild green chiles (drained)
1/2 cup shredded medium cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded Pepper Jack cheese
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

Move oven rack about 2 notches but not too close to the top.
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Spray cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
Place dough on cookie sheet and spread around with hands to form a 16 x 6 inch rectangle.
Sprinkle chiles and shredded cheese on the dough leaving a 1 inch border around the entire rectangle.
Bring the long sides up over the cheese and pinch the dough along the center to seal. Also pinch each end to seal.
Sprinkle top with garlic powder and grated Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 15-17 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool about 10 minutes and then slice and serve.

Make the Bread: In the bowl of a stand mixer, whisk together the flour, sugar, yeast, red pepper flakes and salt. In a liquid measuring cup, whisk together the warm water, eggs, egg yolk, and melted butter. Add the egg mixture to the flour mixture in the mixing bowl. Using a dough hook, knead on medium speed until the dough clears the bottom and sides of the bowl, 4 to 8 minutes.
Shape the dough into a ball and transfer to a greased bowl, turning to coat the dough. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, 1½ to 2 hours.
Transfer the dough to an unfloured work surface and press to deflate. Roll the dough into an 18x12-inch rectangle with the long side parallel to the counter's edge. Distribute the Monterey Jack and provolone cheeses evenly over the surface of the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges. Starting with the edge closest to you, roll the dough into a log, pinching the ends and seam to seal. Roll the log back and forth, applying gentle pressure, until it reaches 30 inches in length. (If the dough tears in any places, just pinch together to re-seal.)
