TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STARS
After one taste, folks will wonder why you didn't make these crunchy garlic-and-herb snacks sooner. The oven-baked tortilla chips get their appeal from a star-shaped cookie cutter, but other cookie cutter shapes also work nicely.

Steps:
- Brush both sides of each tortilla with butter. Combine remaining ingredients; sprinkle over one side of tortillas. With a 2-1/2-in. star-shaped cookie cutter, cut out several stars from each tortilla; discard scraps. Place stars on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 400° for 7-9 minutes or until crisp.

HIDDEN VALLEY RANCH SAUSAGE STARS
These are easy to make you can do the wonton wraps the day or so ahead and have the sausage mixture made in advance then just 5 minutes before serving you fill the wraps and pop them in the oven. For a lighter exterior I prefer to use Spring Roll wraps. Use your regular pork breakfast sausage. if you wish use Italian sausage or bratwurst

Steps:
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Combine drained cooked sausage meat with the cheeses, salad dressing, olives and red pepper
- Lightly oil mini muffin tins and press a wrap in each tine so there are 4 wings sticking out
- Brush with oil bake 5 minutes until golden, remove wraps from pan, place on a baking sheet
- Fill wraps with the sausage, cheese mixture
- Bake for 5 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly& brown.

TORTILLA STARS
These can be made up to 5 days in advance. Store in an airtight container with wax paper in between layers. They will brighten up any cocktail party or appetizer table! You will need 3 in. and 2 in. star cookie cutters.

Steps:
- Place oven rack in middle position. Heat to 400°F Coat baking sheet(s) with non-stick cooking spray. Have ready 3 inch and 2 inch star cookie cutters.
- Working with 1 tortilla at a time, brush one side with butter; sprinkle with cheese. Gently press to adhere. Turn tortilla over, brush with egg white and sprinkle with 2 to 2 1/2 teaspoons of a topping.
- Cut 3 inch stars from edge of tortilla, 2 inch stars from center (bake scraps for snacks). Place cheese side down on baking sheet(s).
- Bake on middle oven rack 6 to 8 minutes until light golden and crisp.
- Remove to wire rack to cool.

- In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Stir in water and oil. Turn onto a floured surface; knead 10-12 times, adding a little flour or water if needed to achieve a smooth dough. Let rest for 10 minutes., Divide dough into 8 portions. On a lightly floured surface, roll each portion into a 7-in. circle., In a greased cast-iron or other heavy skillet, cook tortillas over medium heat until lightly browned, 1 minute on each side. Serve warm.
