GLUTEN-FREE CHEDDAR BISCUITS RECIPE
These gluten-free Cheddar Bay biscuits taste just like Red Lobster's - but they are gluten-free. I'm addicted to these!

Steps:
- Heat oven to 450 F.
- Line a regular cookie sheet with a baking mat or parchment, or spray with nonstick.
- Whisk the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
- Whisk the wet ingredients together in a medium bowl.
- Stir the wet ingredients into the dry. The dough will be stiff.
- Knead/stir in the cheese. It might be easier to use your hands (was for me)
- Use a trigger ice cream scoop or a 1/4 c measure to portion out the biscuits onto the sheet.
- Bake 12-14 minutes, or until they're slightly brown on the bottom.
- Brush with melted coconut oil or butter and sprinkle with parsley and garlic powder before serving.

GLUTEN-FREE CHEDDAR BAY BISCUITS
This is an adaptation of Red Lobster's Cheddar Bay Biscuits. I sometimes bake these in the morning for breakfast leaving out the garlic . They're great for sausage biscuits - something I thought I would never eat again!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Mix dry ingredients together.
- Cut in butter.
- Stir in cheddar cheese.
- Add the beaten egg and the milk.
- Drop onto an ungreased baking sheet - about a 1/4 cup for each biscuit (I use an ice cream scoop).
- Bake for 15-17 minutes until golden brown.

- Heat oven 180 C (350 F).
- Stir dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Separately, whisk eggs, honey, butter and lemon juice together.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Drop biscuits onto baking paper lined tray by the heaped tablespoonful - leave space around them as they will expand while cooking.
- Bake 15-20 minutes until cooked and browned.

- In a large bowl, whisk together the gluten free flour, xanthan gum (if using), baking powder, sugar, garlic powder, salt, baking soda, and Old Bay Seasoning. Whisk in the parsley.
- Add the butter to the flour mixture and cut in with a pastry blender until it resembles coarse crumbs. If you're using frozen grated butter, just stir it in until it's coated with the flour.
- Stir in cheese. Once the cheese is mixed in, stir in the buttermilk and mix until all the dry ingredients are incorporated.
