Pineapple Pudding Sauce For Angel Food Cake Recipes
PINEAPPLE CREAM ANGEL FOOD CAKE
Found this on another recipe site, just made a few changes to accomodate my family. The kids love this cake. I love that it has fewer calories and taste great! You could always top with blueberries and strawberries, or even raspberries. Hope you enjoy it.

Steps:
- 1. Mix pineapple and dry pudding mix in medium bowl with whisk until well blended. Stir in Cool Whip.
- 2. Cut cake horizontally into 3 layers.
- 3. Stack cake layers on plate, filling layers and topping with pudding mixture.
- 4. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Top with berries just befor serving.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 9x13 inch pan with vegetable oil spray.
- In a large bowl, combine cake mix and pineapple (with juice). Mix until well blended.
- Pour batter into prepared 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool.
- Serve with whipped topping

This is an updated version of an old family recipe. It makes a light dessert that is very good. Our church ladies group loved this for "after meeting tea".

- In a large bowl mix milk and pudding mix. Let sit for about 2 minutes until partially set. Fold in drained pineapple and whipped topping. Chill until serving time. To serve spoon a generous amount over angel food cake slices. OPTIONAL: This looks pretty with candied pineapple or a little whipped topping and a cherry on top.
- NOTE: You can purchase an angel food cake or make one with a one step mix. My Mom used to make her own from scratch. That is time consuming but absolutely the best. :)
