ORANGE SLICES BAR COOKIES, MY WAY

Orange Slices Bar Cookies, My Way image

For ease, I used my cutco kitchen shears to cut them into the batter. You will love these easy treats. You could probably do any flavor you like, but the orange is AMAZING!

Number Of Ingredients 5

4 eggs
2 1/4 cup(s) packed brown sugar
2 cup(s) flour
1 cup(s) chopped pecans
16-18 - orange slices candy, cut up with my cutco scissors

Steps:

  • Beat eggs and brown sugar well. Then add flour, and scrape down bowl of kitchen aid. Remove bowl from mixer, stir in pecans and orange slices (cutting directly into the bowl) into batter. Bake at 350 degrees 25 min. Cut into bars immediately, then let cool in the pan.
  • NOTE: I made this in a 9x13 cookie sheet, I think I should have stuck with the 11x17. Less thick makes it easier to eat with the candy inside...
