Miracle Maid Meatloaf Recipes

MIRACLE MEATLOAF

Steps:

• 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
• 2. Spray loaf pan with cooking spray
• 3. In large bowl mix meat, eggs, onions, crushed crackers, Miracle Whip, pepper, garlic, and half of the jar of chunky salsa (your choice of hotness). Mix well and place in loaf pan
• 4. In small bowl mix ketchup and remaining salsa and spoon half of this mixture over the meatloaf.
• 5. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
• 6. Take out of the oven and carefully uncover, drain off excess grease and top with remaining salsa mixture and put back in oven uncovered for remaining 15 minutes.

ALL DAY MIRACLE MEATLOAF

Steps:

• 1. Place the milk and the bread in a large mixing bowl. Let stand until the bread has absorbed all the milk.
• 2. With two forks, break the bread into crumbs. Beat the ground beef into the crumbs until well mixed.
• 3. Make a hollow in the center of the meat and break the eggs into it. Beat the eggs a little; then grate the onion into the eggs. Add salt, pepper, and mustard. Beat the eggs into the beef.
• 4. Shape into a round cake shape and place in the slow cooker. Drain the tomatoes and place them on the meat.
• 5. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 7 hours.
• 6. Before serving, uncover the pot; turn the heat to high and bubble away some of the sauce. It should be thick, not thin.

MIRACLE MAID MEAT LOAF

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 325F. Combine all ingredients and mix well. You can substitute bread crumbs or oatmeal for the cracker crumbs. Use whatever spices you like best. These are my favs'' Place in loaf pan or shape on cookie sheet and cook for about 45 minutes. If you''d like to try cooking this the original way melt half a cup of butter in a large frying pan. Shape and place in middle. Arrange cleaned and quartered potatoes around the meatloaf and cover with a tight fitting lid. Check on it occasionally and turn the potatoes so the crisp evenly. I must admit these potatoes are wonderful! Takes about the same time to cook. Enjoy.

EASY MEATLOAF

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
• In a large bowl, combine the beef, egg, onion, milk and bread OR cracker crumbs. Season with salt and pepper to taste and place in a lightly greased 9x5-inch loaf pan, or form into a loaf and place in a lightly greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
• In a separate small bowl, combine the brown sugar, mustard and ketchup. Mix well and pour over the meatloaf.
• Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour.

ELECTRIC SKILLET MEATLOAF AND VEGGIES

Steps:

• 1. make your favorite meatloaf mixture or take 2lbs lean ground beef, about 1/4 cup ketchup or BBQ sauce (more or less to taste), 1 egg, about 1/4 to 1/2c bread crumbs, 1 sm. chopped onion, 1/2c chopped green pepper and 1-2 cloves minced garlic. season to taste with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and rosemary. For an extra punch...add a 1/4tsp red pepper. Mix to combine. Form into round shape. (I just use the mixing bowl)
• 2. prepare the potatoes, carrots and onions. Melt the butter in a large electric skillet set to 250 degrees. When hot, add the meatloaf to the center of the pan. Surround with the veggie. Season veggies liberally with salt,pepper and garlic powder.
• 3. Place the lid on the skillet. Then just walk away. Allow the meatloaf to cook about 45 min. or until desired doneness.
• 4. This also works well with 1 can cut green beans.
