My mom used to make these when it was going to be a busy night. Now I make them for my daughters busy nights.

Steps:
- Place ground beef in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain excess fat. Stir in pizza sauce, and heat through. Spoon onto buns and top with cheese. Microwave for 15 to 20 seconds, or until cheese is melted.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400F degrees.
- Saute ground beef in nonstick skillet until no longer pink.
- Add pizza sauce.
- Cook on low for 2 minutes.
- Spread bun halves on cookie sheet.
- Top with sauce, pepperoni and mozzarella.
- Sprinkle with parmesan.
- Bake for about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.

From TOH, they sound yummy AND kid friendly! I leave out the green peppers because we don't like them,. but you could use whatever pizza topping your family likes.

- In a food processor, combine the vegetables, olives, pepperoni, tomato paste, and seasonings. Cover and pulse just until blended.
- Transfer to a large bowl, stir in bread crumbs. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well.
- Shape into 4 patties.
- Coat grill rack with cooking spray before starting the grill. Grill burgers, covered, over medium heat for 5-7 minutes over medium heat on each side, or until meat thermometer reads 160 degrees and juices run clear. Serve pm buns with the cheese and pizza sauce. Add extra toppings as desired.

- Combine the ground beef, Italian sausage and Italian seasoning in a bowl. Knead the mixture together and form it into four large/thick patties.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the burgers on one side for several minutes, then turn the burgers. Lay 2 slices of provolone on each patty, followed by 4 slices of pepperoni. Add a couple of thin slices of red onion, a slice of green bell pepper and a pile of black olives. Spoon a little marinara sauce on top, then lay another slice of cheese on top of all the fillings.
- Place the lid on the skillet and allow the burgers to cook all the way through while the cheese melts and the pepperoni warms.
- Split the rolls and toast them in butter in a skillet until nice and golden and crisp. Spread both halves with more marinara sauce and sprinkle the sauce with Parmesan.
- Lay the patties on the bottom buns, then top with the top buns. Serve immediately; hearty appetites are recommended!

- Combine beef, tomato paste, salt, sugar, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, pepper, and oregano in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate to let flavors marry, about 4 hours.
- Form beef mixture into 8 thin patties. Place 1 slice of mozzarella cheese on each of 4 patties; leave at least a 1/2-inch border, breaking up the cheese as needed. Place remaining patties on top and pinch edges to seal in the cheese.
- Heat a skillet over medium-low heat. Fry burgers until browned and centers reach 165 degrees F (74 degrees C), 6 to 7 minutes per side. Serve on buns.
