CRANBERRY VELVET FREEZE

Everyone in my family loves this dessert. I normally serve it at Thanksgiving and Christmas when we're all together.

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 cans (16 ounces each) whole-berry cranberry sauce
2 cans (one 20 ounces, one 8 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained
1 package (10 ounces) miniature marshmallows
1 cup green maraschino cherries, quartered
1 cup red maraschino cherries, quartered
1 teaspoon lemon juice
3 cups heavy whipping cream, whipped

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the cranberry sauce, pineapple, marshmallows, cherries and lemon juice. Fold in whipped cream. , Spoon into an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. dish. Cover and freeze overnight. Remove from the freezer 10 minutes before serving.

a co-worker made this recipe for a holiday gathering and it was wonderful. Something different. It is classified as a salad, but we eat it for dessert as well.

3 c cranberries, fresh
1 1/2 c sugar
8 oz crushed pineapple, drained very well
1/2 c nuts, chopped
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 c heavy whipping cream

Steps:

  • 1. Crush or grind cranberries. Add sugar and blend well. Add pineapple, nuts and cream cheese. Mix well.
  • 2. Whip heavy whipping cream until light and fluffy. Fold cranberry mixture in and pour into a bowl that is able to be put in freezer. Freeze.
  • 3. When ready to serve, take out of freezer approximately 30 minutes before serving.

4 oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1/3 cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing
2 ripe bananas, mashed
1 can (16 oz.) jellied or whole berry cranberry sauce, cut up
1/2 cup pecan pieces
1 cup thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
1 ready-to-use graham cracker crumb crust (6 oz.)

Steps:

  • Beat cream cheese, sugar and dressing in large bowl with wire whisk until well blended. Add bananas, cranberry sauce and pecans; mix well. Gently stir in whipped topping.
  • Pour into pie crust; cover.
  • Freeze several hours or overnight until filling is firm. Store leftover pie in freezer.

Most of my family loves. It is very good for the holidays. Even some people who don't care for cranberries like this. It is delishes!!

3 c cranberries, fresh, (ground or finely chopped)
1 1/2 c sugar
2/3 c crushed pineapple (8 3/4 oz. can)
1/2 c chopped walnuts
1 8 oz pkg softend philadelphia cream cheese
1 c heavy cream, whipped

Steps:

  • 1. Combine 3 cups cranberries(ground or finely chopped), add: 1 1/2 cups sugar. Stir in 2/3 cup crushed pineapple. add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts.
  • 2. Gradually add above to 1 8oz pkg.softened cream cheese. Mix well. Fold in 1 cup heavy cream,whipped.
  • 3. Pour into a 6 1/2 cup ring mold. FREEZE. When you take it out of freezer take it out of mold. You might want to let it defrost a few minutes before serving. Hope you enjoy this as much as my family as over the years!

1 tablespoon white sugar
1 tablespoon mayonnaise

½ (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping (such as Cool Whip®)
½ cup miniature marshmallows
1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust

Steps:

  • Blend cream cheese, sugar, and mayonnaise together in a bowl. Add pineapple, cranberry sauce, and pecans; mix to combine. Fold in frozen whipped topping and mini marshmallows.
  • Pour mixture into graham cracker pie crust. Freeze until firm, about 2 hours.

1-1lb. can(s) whole cranberry sauce
1-8 1/2oz can(s) crushed pineapple, drained. *note:1-8 1/2 can crushed pineapple contains 3/4 c. drained crushed pineapple.
1 c sour cream
1/3 c coarsley chopped pecans

Steps:

  • 1. Combine all ingredients into a Medium mixing bowl; Mix well.
  • 2. Pour mixture into an 8'x8' pan. Cover and freeze until firm.(2 hours)
  • 3. Remove from freezer a few minutes before serving and cut into squares.
