Ingredients

3/4 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup Kahlua
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 (14 ounce) brie cheese

Steps:

Microwave pecans 1 1/2 minutes.
Mix with Kahlua and brown sugar.
Spread on brie.
Microwave an additional 2 minutes; or bake at 350 until the topping is bubbly.
Serve with crackers and/or apple and pear wedges.

Ingredients

3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
1/4 cup Kahlua
3 tablespoons brown sugar
14 ounces mini brie cheese

Steps:

Spread pecans in a 9" pie plate.
Microwave on high 4 to 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes until toasted.
Add Kahlua and sugar; stir well.
Remove rind from top of Brie and discard rind.
Place Brie on microwave safe plate.
Spoon pecan mixture over top of Brie.
Microwave, uncovered, at high for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until soft, turning halfway through cooking.
Serve with Melba rounds or crackers.

Unwrap the Brie and slice the rind off the top. Place in the bottom of the wooden container and tie a piece of butcher's twine around the box to secure it. Set aside.
Heat the brown sugar and Kahlua in a small saucepan, stirring and simmering until the sugar is dissolved. Mix in the pecans and let cool until the mixture thickens, but is still pourable.
Place the Brie in a small ovenproof/microwave safe container. Top with the caramel sauce and pecans.
Place the Brie in the microwave and set to cook 2 minutes, watching carefully and pulling out when cheese puffs slightly. Mine took about 1 1/2 minutes, but timing will vary. Brie should be soft, but not liquid.
