What a tasty cheese ball! Can't wait to serve this one the next time I have my girlfriends over. The combination of cheeses and bacon adds great flavor. I loved the crunch that the nuts added. Yummy!!

Number Of Ingredients 8

Ingredients

2 pkg cream cheese (8 oz each)
1 container sharp cheddar Pub Cheese (8 oz)
1 1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese
1 pkg real bacon bits or pieces (4.5 oz)
2-4 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 c crushed pecans
2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

1. Combine first 6 ingredients; mix well, shape into a log.
2. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Combine pecans and parsley; Roll log into pecan mixture. Chill and serve.

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
2 cups shredded Colby cheese
2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 cups chopped pecans, toasted
Butter-flavored crackers

Steps:

In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Stir in the shredded cheeses, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder and Worcestershire sauce. Shape mixture into two logs, about 6 in. long. Roll in pecans, pressing down gently., Wrap each in plastic wrap; refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight. Serve with crackers.

Add herbs to a medium bowl and whisk to combine. Remove 1 1/2 teaspoons to use in pecan coating. To the remaining herbs stir in lemon zest and garlic. Add goat cheese and stir to evenly combine.
Add this cheese mixture to a large piece of plastic wrap and form into the shape of a log. Wrap in plastic wrap and freeze 20-30 minutes. We want the cheese log slightly firm so it holds its shape but is still soft enough for the Coating to be pressed into it.
Line counter with a large piece parchment paper. Add pecans and reserved 1 1/2 teaspoons herbs and stir to combine. Spread Coating into a single layer square a little larger than the length of the cheese log.
Add cheese log to the edge of the Coating and roll in Coating (see photos) until evenly coated, pressing coating into the cheese so it sticks. The cheese log can be refrigerated at this point until ready to serve or serve immediately.
