Head of cauliflower, cut into drumstick-like pieces
1 cup soy or almond milk
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon each: garlic salt, smoked paprika, and onion powder
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup Buffalo Sauce (like Frank's Hot)
2 tablespoons vegan butter, melted
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1/2 cup mayo (or vegan mayo)
1/4 cup soy milk
1/4 cup freshly chopped parsley
1 teaspoon dried dill
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • To do this, whisk together the mayo, soy milk, parsley, dill, garlic powder. Then, add a pinch of salt and season to taste, if needed. Set aside.
  • Next, heat the milk and cornstarch together in a medium saucepan until cornstarch has dissolved. Then, heat the milk over medium heat until slightly thickened, about 4-5 minutes, then set aside to let cool.
  • Then, place the air fryer tray into the Air Fryer and set to 7 minutes at 400 degrees F. Let cook, then flip/shake ~halfway through cooking.

1 ½ pounds cauliflower florets
4 tablespoons egg substitute (such as JUST egg(R))
¾ cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
nonstick cooking spray
½ cup vegan Buffalo wing sauce (such as Frank's®)

Steps:

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Place cauliflower florets in a large bowl. Pour egg substitute over the florets and stir to coat.
  • Mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a large plastic resealable bag. Zip and shake until evenly combined.
  • Drop 1/2 of the florets into the seasoned flour. Zip and shake to coat. Place florets in the basket of the air fryer. Spray tops with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Air fry for 5 minutes. Flip cauliflower over, spray any chalky spots, and cook for 5 minutes more. Repeat with remaining cauliflower florets.
  • Meanwhile, heat buffalo wing sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until warm. Transfer cauliflower to a large bowl. Pour wing sauce over the top and toss until evenly coated. Serve immediately.

1 large cauliflower head
1 cup all-purpose flour (regular or gluten-free)
1 cup dairy free milk (soy, oat or even regular)
1 cup pankobreadcrumbs (you can substitute for gluten free option, if needed)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup soy sauce, regular or reduced sodium
1/4 cup brown sugar
4 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
2 tablespoons agave
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon seasme seeds, for garnish
2 stalks green onions, diced

Steps:

  • Start by peeling and mincing your garlic and ginger.
  • Then mix your soy sauce, brown sugar, agave, sesame oil, minced garlic, and minced ginger in a medium-sized bowl. Mix until well combined. Set aside
  • Cut your cauliflower into bite-size florets. Then rinse, wash and drain. Add the seasoning (garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper) to your flour and mix until well combined. Make your batter by adding your milk to the seasoned flour and whisk until smooth.
  • Dip each cauliflower floret in the batter, let the access batter drip off and then dip it in the panko crumbs, making sure it's fully covered.
  • Bring a medium-size pot to medium-high heat and add the teriyaki sauce. Bring to a boil and reduce the heat to medium-low. Let it simmer for about five more minutes until the teriyaki sauce has thickened. Make sure to keep stirring so the sauce doesn't burn. Then remove from the heat and let it cool off.
  • Put your cauliflower wings in the air fryer, make sure that each wing has a tiny space, and don't touch each other. Heat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and cook for 8 minutes. Make sure to flip them over halfway. Add two additional minutes if you like them crispier. But make sure the panko crumbs don't burn.
  • Dip each wing in the teriyaki sauce and let them access sauce drain off. Sprinkle the sesame seeds and scallions over your wings.
  • Plate, serve, and enjoy!
