Creamy Garlic Shrimp Alfredo Pasta is such a classic meal that is brought to its BEST with Shrimp. This meal takes little effort and is so creamy and delicious the entire family will go crazy for!

1 pound large shrimp (peeled, deveined and tails removed)
1 Tablespoon olive oil
salt and pepper
16 ounce fettuccini noodles
½ cup butter
1 pint heavy whipping cream (2 cups)
4 ounces cream cheese
½ teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 cup grated parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • In a medium sized skillet over medium high heat add shrimp and olive oil. Cook the shrimp 2-3 minutes until they are cooked throughout and opaque. Remove the shrimp and set aside on a plate.
  • In a large pot bring water to a boil and add the fettuccini and cook until al dente. Drain.
  • Meanwhile, prepare your Alfredo sauce. Add butter, heavy whipping cream, and cream cheese. Cook over medium heat and whisk until melted. Add the minced garlic, garlic powder, italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Continue to whisk until smooth. Add the grated parmesan cheese and let simmer until it starts to thicken. Add shrimp and pasta to the sauce and toss to coat.

This Creamy Shrimp Alfredo Recipe is full of creamy, cheesy and velvety sauce all around tender succulent shrimp! Easy comfort food that comes together in one pan in 30 minute for easy weeknight meal entertaining.

2 pounds shrimp, shelled and deveined
1/4 cup butter
1 cup mini peppers, sliced
1/4 cup minced onion
3 cloves garlic
1/3 cup wine, (prosecco)
1 1/2 cup heavy cream
2 cups fresh parmesan cheese, grated
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Heat a large skillet to medium high and add a spoonful of butter to the pan once hot. Melt the butter then saute the shrimp about 1-2 minutes per side. The shrimp will start to turn white/pink but dont worry that it is not complete cooked thru. It will cook further when added to cream sauce.
  • Remove shrimp from pan and place on a side plate.
  • Into the same pan add in the rest of the butter. When melted, the sliced peppers and cook for 3 minutes (they are just starting to soften. Then add minced onions and garlic and saute until cooked and just starting to turn golden brown about 4-5 minutes. Sprinkle flour over the top and stir until incorporated. (1 minute)
  • Pour in the wine to deglaze the pan. Using a wooden spoon scrape up any brown bits to incorporate into the sauce. Reduce until 1/2 about 3 minutes.
  • Add heavy cream and stir vigorously until thickened. About 5 minutes. Then add shrimp and cheese and stir until shrimp is warmed and cheese is melted.
  • Serve alone, atop rice, or toss in with pasta and serve immediately.

2 Tbsp. KRAFT Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing
1/2 lb. uncooked deveined peeled medium shrimp
3 cloves garlic, minced
6 oz. (3/4 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, cubed
3/4 cup fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth
1/4 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese, divided
1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.
  • Meanwhile, heat dressing in Large Skillet on medium heat. Add shrimp; cook and stir 2 to 3 min. or until shrimp turn pink, adding garlic for the last minute. Remove shrimp from skillet with slotted spoon, reserving liquid in skillet; set shrimp aside. Add cream cheese and broth to reserved liquid in skillet; cook 3 to 5 min or until cream cheese is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring frequently. Stir in shrimp and 3 Tbsp. Parmesan.
  • Drain pasta. Add to shrimp mixture; mix lightly. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan and parsley.
