CRAB RANGOON CHEESE BALL
My whole family loves crab rangoon, so I wanted to come up with a healthier version-no deep frying! Word of advice: Make a double batch. This won't last long! -Bridget Mooney, Chicago, Illinois

Steps:
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic and Worcestershire sauce until blended. Stir in crab. Shape mixture into a ball; coat with chives. Wrap in plastic; refrigerate at least 1 hour., Preheat oven to 350°. Cut wonton wrappers diagonally in half; arrange in a single layer on ungreased baking sheets. Spritz with cooking spray; sprinkle with sesame seeds, salt and pepper. Bake 5-7 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pans to wire racks to cool. Serve with cheese ball.

- In a small bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Shape into a ball; set aside. Place one sheet of phyllo dough on a work surface. (Keep remaining dough covered with plastic wrap and a damp towel to prevent it from drying out.) Brush dough with butter. Repeat with remaining phyllo, brushing each layer with remaining butter., Place Brie in center of phyllo stack; top with ball of crab mixture. Bring up corners of dough around Brie and ball; invert and place seam side down in a greased 9-in. pie plate. Combine egg and water. Easy to prepare cheeseball. My husband does not like cheeseballs with green or red peppers but likes this because it has crabmeat in it. I think it has a great flavor and is a great appetizer for company.

- 1. Using a collander covered with a paper towel inside, drain the crabmeat until nice and flaky and not moist.
- 2. Blend cream cheese, chives, garlic powder and salt.
- 3. Fold in the crabmeat and mix well.

- 5. Chill at least an hour. Serve with crackers.
