This Iced Mocha Recipe is so simple you'll only need about five minutes to throw it together, pour it over ice, and get your caffeine and chocolate fix.

¼ cup milk (any percentage, divided)
1 to 2 tablespoons (12 to 25g) granulated sugar (*)
1 tablespoon (5g) unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup cold coffee (*)
1 tablespoon heavy cream (optional)
Whipped cream (optional for topping)
Chocolate syrup (optional for topping)

Steps:

  • In a small pot, combine 2 tablespoons of the milk, sugar, and cocoa powder. Heat over medium heat, whisking constantly, until mixture begins to simmer and is well-combined and smooth.
  • Remove from heat and whisk in cold coffee, remaining 2 tablespoons of the milk, and optional heavy cream.
  • Pour over a 16-ounce cup (or mason jar) of ice, top with whipped cream and chocolate syrup if desired, and enjoy.

1-1/2 teaspoons instant coffee granules
1 tablespoon hot water
4 cups eggnog
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Additional ground cinnamon, optional

Steps:

  • In a pitcher, dissolve coffee in water. Add the eggnog, brown sugar and cinnamon; whisk until sugar is dissolved. Chill., In a small bowl, beat the cream, confectioners' sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form. Pour eggnog mixture into glasses; top with whipped cream. Dust tops with cinnamon if desired.

1 envelope low-calorie hot cocoa mix
ice cubes, or as needed
½ cup unsweetened almond milk
2 tablespoons sugar-free chocolate syrup, or more to taste

Steps:

  • Heat 1/4 cup coffee in microwave in a mug until warmed, about 30 seconds. Stir cocoa mix into the coffee until dissolved.
  • Fill a large glass with ice cubes. Pour 1 cup cold coffee and almond milk over the ice cubes; stir the cocoa mixture and chocolate syrup into the coffee and almond milk.

1 tablespoon instant coffee
about 2 cups water
1 tablespoon coffee creamer, any flavor (I use sugar-free hazelnut.)
1/4 cup chocolate syrup (I use Walden Farms' calorie-free chocolate syrup.)
8 (1 g) packets sugar (I use Splenda)
1 tablespoon cinnamon
5 -6 ice cubes

Steps:

  • -Put coffee in a tall glass and add water.
  • -Put in freezer for 10-15 minutes to chill.
  • -Pour into a blender, add the remaining ingredients, and blend.
  • -Enjoy!

8 ounces semisweet chocolate, cut into bits
4 cups strong brewed coffee
a 2 1/2-inch cinnamon stick, broken into pieces
sugar to taste
1/2 cup well chilled heavy cream
ground cinnamon to taste

Steps:

  • In a saucepan combine the chocolate, the coffee, and the cinnamon stick and heat the mixture over very low heat, stirring, until the chocolate is melted. Stir in the sugar and chill the mixture until it is cold. In a chilled bowl with an electric mixer beat the cream until it holds soft peaks. Strain the chocolate mixture and divide it among tall glasses. Top the drinks with the whipped cream and sprinkle them with cinnamon.

All of my friends rave about these frosty drinks. I pour my leftover coffee in ice cube trays and keep them on hand all the time. You can make fun squiggly designs on insides of glasses with chocolate syrup, before pouring mochas. Top with whipped cream.
