Sweet and delicious. Recipe calls for pre-made graham cracker crust, but I usually make my own.

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
½ cup milk
1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 (12 ounce) can cherry pie filling, divided
1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker pie crust

Steps:

  • Beat cream cheese, sour cream, and milk together in a bowl. Stir pudding mix into the cream cheese mixture. Fold about half the cherry pie filling into the cream cheese mixture; spread into the prepared pie crust and top with remaining pie filling.
  • Refrigerate until set and chilled completely, about 2 hours.

I serve this cherry cake for holidays because it's so festive and easy. No one will know your secret is adding a package of cherry gelatin to a boxed cake mix! -Margaret McNeil, Germantown, Tennessee

1 package white cake mix (regular size)
1 package (3 ounces) cherry gelatin
1-1/2 cups boiling water
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
2 cups frozen whipped topping
1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling

Steps:

  • Prepare cake mix according to package directions, using a greased 13x9-in. baking pan. Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. , Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Cool cake on a wire rack for 3-5 minutes. Poke holes in cake with a meat fork or wooden skewer; gradually pour gelatin over cake. Cool for 15 minutes. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes., In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Fold in whipped topping. Carefully spread over cake. Top with the pie filling. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

1 can(s) (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1/3 c lemon juice
1 ready made graham cracker crust
1 can(s) cherry pie filling, chilled

Steps:

  • 1. In medium bowl beat egg yolks. Stir in sweetened condensed milk and lemon juice. Pour into crust
  • 2. Bake at 325 for 25 minutes. Cool for 1 hour. Refrigerate at least 3 hours or until set.
  • 3. Top with pie filling, Garnish as desired. Store in refrigerator.

  • With an electric mixer, whip cream cheese and powdered sugar until creamy. Fold in Cool Whip and mix until combined. Pour into pie shell. Cover with cherry pie filling. Let refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
