Easy Homemade Italian Dressing image

This Easy Homemade Italian Dressing is so tasty and simple! Plus it's Whole30, gluten free, sugar free, and dairy free. Perfect on salads or as a marinade!

3/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup red or white wine vinegar
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp lemon juice

Steps:

  • Add all ingredients to a jar, place the lid on the jar, and give it a good shake!
  • Just like with all vinegar based dressing you'll need to shake it up again before pouring to eliminate separation.

This Classic Creamy Italian Salad Dressing recipe is one for the books! It's packed with delicious herbs and makes the perfect creamy addition to any garden salad! And it's SO easy to make and healthy too!

1/4 cup white wine vinegar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/3 cup good quality olive oil
1/2 cup natural, high-quality mayonnaise
2 cloves fresh garlic, finely minced
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
2 teaspoons honey
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, finely grated
salt and pepper to taste
a few tablespoons of water (ONLY IF NEEDED to thin the dressing out a little bit)

Steps:

  • Add all ingredients to a large mason jar and shake very well until combined. Store in the fridge for a few hours before serving, or serve immediately over your favourite garden salad.
  • Shake well before serving.
  • If the dressing is too thick, simply add water one teaspoon at a time to thin it out to the desired consistency.

1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 small clove garlic, minced
Pinch of sugar
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil

Steps:

  • Combine the vinegar, mustard, oregano, garlic, sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt and a few grinds of pepper in a jar. Cover and shake until combined. Add the olive oil, cover and shake again until smooth. (The dressing will keep, refrigerated, up to 1 week.)

Pinch of dried oregano

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in small bowl and whisk to blend. Season to taste with salt and pepper. (Can be prepared 1 day ahead. Cover and refrigerate.)

Steps:

  • Choose the vinegar you want for the base of your Italian dressing and pour into a salad dressing carafe.
