- Preheat oven to 325°. Line a roasting pan with foil. Place ham on a rack in prepared pan. Bake, covered, 1 hour., Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, whisk remaining ingredients until blended. Remove 1 cup mixture for glaze; reserve remaining mixture for sauce. Brush ham with some of the glaze mixture. Bake, uncovered, until a thermometer reads 140°, 35-45 minutes, brushing every 10 minutes with remaining glaze., Warm reserved sauce mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally; serve with ham.

- Heat oven to 325°F. Place ham on rack in shallow roasting pan. Add 1/4 to 1/2 inch water to pan. Cover pan.
- Bake 45 minutes. Uncover pan; bake 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes longer or until meat thermometer inserted in center, but not touching bone, registers 140°F.
- To make sauce, in small saucepan, mix all remaining ingredients with wire whisk until well blended. Cook over medium heat 10 minutes or until cranberry sauce is melted and mixture is thoroughly heated, stirring frequently. Cut ham into slices. Serve with sauce.

I CAME UP with this recipe several summers ago. I had a ham in the refrigerator and was trying to avoid heating up the kitchen by preparing it in the oven. The stovetop was the solution. - Drain pineapple, reserving 1/3 cup of juice; set pineapple aside. In a large bowl, combine the reserved juice, ketchup, soy sauce and sugar. BAKED FRESH HAM WITH APPLE-CRANBERRY SAUCE

- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
- Score fat and put ham, fat side up, in a roasting pan. Rub with extra-virgin olive oil and season with plenty of salt and pepper all over. Cover loosely with foil and roast for 2 hours. Remove foil and roast for final hour uncovered.
- In a large saucepan add all the sauce ingredients and simmer for 25 minutes until apples are almost falling apart and the sauce is fragrant. Remove cinnamon stick, bay leaf, and ginger then puree in a blender until completely smooth. Serve with baked fresh ham.
SWEET AND SOUR GLAZED HAM
Steps:
- HEAT oven to 325 degrees F. Combine jelly, mustard, lemon juice and ground cloves in medium saucepan; place over medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Set aside.
- SCORE fat on ham in a diamond design; stud with cloves. Place ham, fat side up, on rack in roasting pan. Insert meat thermometer, making sure it does not touch bone.
- BAKE, uncovered, until thermometer registers 140 degrees F (1 1/2 to 2 hours); baste every 15 to 20 minutes with sauce.
- HEAT remaining sauce; serve with ham.
