A delicious easy pizza that everyone will enjoy!

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 granny smith apples
1 cup(s) apricot jam
8 ounce(s) brie cheese
1/2 cup(s) chopped pecans
1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
1/2 cup(s) whip cream

Steps:

  • Preheat your oven 350 degrees
  • Spread your pizza dough out on your pizza pan
  • Spread your apricot jam on your pizza dough
  • Add your diced apples
  • Add your chopped pecans
  • Top with your Brie cheese
  • Bake for 18- 20 minutes until done Remove from oven sprinkle with cinnamon, serve with whip cream slice & enjoy!

This is a quick & delicious dessert pizza. Perfect for an appetizer, breakfast, game day, entertaining Family & friends.

11 ounce(s) store bought pizza dough
2 granny smith apples
1 cup(s) apricot jam
2 cup(s) brie cheese
1/2 cup(s) chopped pecans
1 teaspoon(s) gound cinnamon
8 ounce(s) heavy whipping cream

Steps:

  • Pour heavy whipping cream into a glass bowl whip until it becomes whipped cream. Set in the refrigerator to chill.
  • Preheat your oven 350 degrees
  • Spread your pizza dough out on your pizza pan.
  • Spread apricot jam evenly on your pizza dough.
  • Add your diced apples
  • Add your unsalted chopped pecans
  • Top with your Brie cheese.
  • Bake 18-20 minutes until done. Remove from the oven sprinkle with cinnamon slice into 8 slices. Top with whipped cream & enjoy.

Folks will think you fussed over this pretty appetizer, but it took our Test Kitchen only minutes to top a round of smooth and creamy brie with warm sweet apricots. This is one easy appetizer certain to make any occasion "special."

1/2 cup chopped dried apricots
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
Dash salt
1/2 to 1 teaspoon minced fresh rosemary or 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
1 round Brie cheese (8 ounces)
Assorted crackers

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°. In a small saucepan, combine first five ingredients; bring to a boil. Cook and stir over medium heat until slightly thickened. Remove from heat; stir in rosemary. , Trim rind from top of cheese. Place cheese in an ungreased ovenproof serving dish. Spoon apricot mixture over cheese. Bake, uncovered, until cheese is softened, 10-12 minutes. Serve warm, with crackers.

Apricot preserves add a burst of fruitiness that complements the creamy texture of Brie.

1/3 cup apricot preserves
1/4 cup chopped pecans
2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
1 sheet puff pastry (from 17.3-oz package), thawed
1 round (8 oz) Brie cheese, cut horizontally in half
1 tablespoon whipping (heavy) cream or half-and-half

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400°F. Line cookie sheet with foil or cooking parchment paper; lightly spray foil or paper with cooking spray. In small bowl, mix preserves, pecans and onion; set aside.
  • On lightly floured surface, roll pastry into 10x14-inch rectangle. Using the round of cheese as a pattern, cut a pastry circle 3 to 4 inches larger than the cheese. Set aside excess pastry.
  • Spread half of the preserves mixture in center of pastry circle, leaving 3-inch edge. Place 1 cheese round (in rind) on preserves. Spoon remaining preserves over cheese. Top with remaining cheese round.
  • Gently fold edges of pastry up and over cheese to cover, folding and pinching edges to seal. Place seam side down on cookie sheet. Cut out decorative pieces from excess pastry. Brush pastry with whipping cream; place pastry cutouts on top.
  • Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

  • Press 1 dough square into each miniature muffin cup. Cut cheese into 24 thin wedges. Place one piece of cheese in bottom of each dough-lined cup. Fold cheese pieces in half to fit inside cups, if necessary.
  • Bake 9 to 12 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool 3 minutes; use metal spatula to loosen edges, and remove from pan. Spoon 1/4 teaspoon preserves on top of each cup to serve.

  • On a lightly floured surface, lightly roll out each pastry sheet to a 10- x 12-inch rectangle; cut each sheet into 12 equal squares. Fit squares into miniature muffin cups, extending corners slightly above cup rims.
  • Bake 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden. Remove from oven and gently press the handle of a wooden spoon into center of each pastry, forming tart shells.
  • Spoon 1/2 teaspoon preserves into each shell; top with a cheese cube and sprinkle pecans evenly over tops. Bake 5 to 7 minutes, or until cheese melts; serve immediately.
