1 1/4 ounces sauza hornitos tequila
3/4 ounce triple sec
1/2 ounce simple syrup
1 ounce pom wonderful pomegranate juice
4 ounces sweet and sour sauce

Steps:

Fill a mixing tin with ice.
Mix all ingredients into the tin.
Strain the drink into a martini glass and garnish with a cherry and a lime wedge.
This drink should fill an average martini glass 3-4 times!

Got the recipe straight from the bartender! And it is AWESOME! Recipe for simple syrup: Basically 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups of water, bring to a boil, simmer on low for about 6-8 minutes stirring until all sugar is melted, let cool, store in a jar or air tight container in the refrigerator.

1 1/2 ounces tequila, souza hornitos preferred
1/2-1 ounce simple syrup (original calls for 1/2 ounce but add a splash more if you like it a little sweeter)
3/4 ounce triple sec
1 ounce pom wonderful pomegranate juice
4 ounces prepared sweet-and-sour mix

Steps:

Mix all ingredients in a shaker with ice.
Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a skewered marachino cherry and lime wedge.
Delish!

After years of searching for the recipe, I think I finally found it. I found it at cdkitchen.com (Recipe # 75842). If you can't find simple syrup at the liquor store, you can eaily make it at home. If you have a BevMo near you, they sell it (acording to their website)but it is $5 for 12 ounces so making it at home is cheaper. Some recipes say to use equal parts sugar and water and others say to use 2 parts sugar / 1 part water. So feel free to experiment, or just use 1.5 parts sugar and 1 part water and that will probably work. To make: Pour water into saucepan. Add sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and continue stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. It should be smooth; no clumps. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature. Bottle it and store in fridge.

1/2 ounce Grand Marnier
1 1/2 ounces freshly squeezed lime juice
4 ounces prepared sweet-and-sour mix
1/2 ounce simple syrup (see description)
lime wedge and olive (optional)

Steps:

Put all ingredients except the lime wedge and olive in a shaker. Add ice, shake until very cold and pour into a salt-rimmed margarita glass. Garnish with lime wedge and olive.

Place coarse salt on a small plate. Rub rim of glass with lime wedge and dip in coarse salt if desired. Add ice cubes to glass if using.
Combine drink ingredients in a cocktail shaker, add some ice and shake vigorously, then strain into prepared glass. Garnish rim with lime wedge.
Note: If you want to prepare a pitcher instead of making individual cocktails, simply adjust the quantities for the number of drinks you need. Mix the pomegranate juice, tequila, orange liqueur and lime juice in a pitcher, keep cool, then pour into prepared glasses over ice when ready to serve.
