2/3 C. Brown sugar
1/4 C. (1/2 stick) softened butter
1/2 t. Vanilla
1 egg
1 C. Flour
1 t. Baking soda
1/2 t. Cinnamon
1/2 r. Ground cloves
1 C. Shredded zucchini
1/2 C. Chopped nuts
Spice Frosting (below)

Steps:

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease square 8 x 8 pan. Mix brown sugar, butter vanilla $ egg in large bowl. Stir in flour, baking soda, cinnamon & cloves. Stir in zucchini & nuts. Spread in pan. Bake 25-30 minutes. Cool completely. Frost with spice frosting. Spice frosting 3/4 C. Powered sugar 1 T. softened butter 1/8 t. ground cloves 3-4 t. milk Mix all ingredients until smooth & spread on cooled bars.

1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 cups shredded zucchini (about 2 medium)
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
48 pecan halves, if desired
6 tablespoons butter (do not use margarine)
6 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
8 to 10 tablespoons milk

Steps:

Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom and sides of 15x10x1-inch pan with shortening or spray with cooking spray.
In large bowl, beat granulated sugar, oil and eggs with electric mixer on medium speed, or mix with spoon. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Stir in zucchini and pecans. Spread in pan.
Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean and top is golden brown. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
Meanwhile, in 4-quart saucepan, heat butter over medium heat until light golden brown; remove from heat. Stir in powdered sugar, vanilla and milk until smooth and spreadable. Spread Browned Butter Frosting on cooled bars. For bars, cut into 8 rows by 6 rows. Top each bar with pecan half.

2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 cups zucchini, shredded
1 cup canola oil
3 eggs
3 cups powdered sugar
3 tablespoons margarine, melted
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Mix well in a medium bowl: flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Add shredded zucchini, canola oil, and eggs.
Pour into greased jelly roll pan.
Bake at 350F for 30-40 minutes.
While bars are baking, prepare frosting. Frost bars once cooled.
