Ina Garten's Baked Brie for Food Network makes a near-effortless, crowd-pleasing appetizer.

Number Of Ingredients 2

1/4 wheel brie
4 tablespoons honey

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Place the brie on a sheet pan covered with parchment paper and drizzle with the honey. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes, or until it starts to ooze but not melt.
  • Serve with crackers.

To toast walnuts, heat your oven to 350 degrees F. Spread the nuts in a single layer on a baking sheet and roast for 5 to 10 minutes, tossing the nuts around occasionally to ensure even cooking. Nuts are toasted when they appear a shade darker and smell nutty.

1 wedge brie cheese
1/4 cup walnut halves, toasted
3 tablespoons pure honey
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/8 teaspoon sea salt

Steps:

  • Remove the cheese from refrigerator and place onto a serving plate. Set aside for 1 hour so that it comes to room temperature.
  • Five minutes before serving, heat the honey in a small saucepan over medium heat with the red pepper flakes and salt. When the honey is warm drizzle it over the brie. Scatter walnuts on top and around the sides then serve.

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. On a parchment lined baking sheet, place Brie wheel and drizzle with honey. Bake Brie for 3-4 minutes just until softened and slightly melted. Remove and transfer immediately to a serving dish. Serve warm with fresh bread, fruit slices and wine.

1 small wheel of Brie or Camembert (about 9 ounces)
1/2 cup pecan pieces
3 tablespoons light-brown sugar
3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
crackers or sliced baguette, for serving

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place cheese on a rimmed baking sheet; bake until softened, 15 to 20 minutes. Transfer to a serving plate; cool about 20 minutes.
  • While cheese cools, place nuts on a clean baking sheet; bake until toasted and fragrant, 7 to 10 minutes. Sprinkle nuts over cheese.
  • In a small saucepan, combine sugar and maple syrup. Bring to a boil over medium heat; simmer until foamy, 1 to 2 minutes. Drizzle warm sauce over slightly cooled cheese and nuts; serve with crackers or baguette.
