Steps:
- Add ground beef to a large skillet, using vegetable oil, if needed. If using lean beef (turkey or chicken) oil will be necessary. Cook until no pink remains.
- Drain and return to the skillet.
- Add beef back into pan and mix with taco seasoning and salsa, stir well until fully coated.
- Serve immediately with bags of Fritos or Doritos and toppings of your choice.

- In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink, breaking into crumbles, 6-8 minutes; drain. Stir in chili seasoning mix, pepper, tomatoes and beans; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, until thickened, 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally., Just before serving, cut open corn chip bags. Add beef mixture and toppings.

- Spoon lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream into separate bowls; place on tray next to taco meat. Add opened bags of chips.
- Spoon taco meat over chips (in bags) just before serving; top with lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream.
