SPICY TROPICAL COOLERS

Steps:

• Make the jalapeno syrup: Bring the sugar, 2/3 cup water and half of the jalapeno slices to a simmer in a small saucepan, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Remove from the heat and let cool completely, about 20 minutes.
• Meanwhile, muddle the remaining jalapeno slices in a large liquid measuring cup with a wooden spoon. Add the pineapple juice; let sit while the syrup cools.
• Strain the jalapeno syrup and pineapple juice mixture into a pitcher. Stir in the vodka, mango nectar and lime juice and refrigerate until ready to serve. Pour into ice-filled glasses; garnish with skewers of pineapple, jalapeno and mango.

TROPICAL LEMONADE WINE COOLER

Steps:

• In a large pitcher, mix the sugar and lemon juice until sugar is dissolved.
• Add the fresh fruit, wine and water.
• Stir well, using the spoon to crush some of the fruit to release its juice.
• Cover and refridgerate for at least one hour before serving.

HOMEMADE WINE COOLERS

Steps:

• Pour wine into an ice cube tray and freeze until solid.
• When cubes are frozen, plop 1 or 2 into a glass of ginger ale. Allow to sit for about 5 minutes so the cubes melt a little; stir.

TROPICAL COOLER

Steps:

• Just before serving, combine the first 4 ingredients in a punch bowl. If desired, garnish with fruit or edible flowers.

TROPICAL LEMONADE

Steps:

• Pour the vodka, Blue Curacao, and sweet and sour mix to a cocktail shaker filled with ice; shake to chill.
• Fill a collins glass with ice; strain the vodka mixture into the glass. Top with a splash of lemon-lime soda.
