My family and friends love this tantalizing juicy burger with just enough sweet taste to leave your mouth craving for more!

Number Of Ingredients 11

2 cups Worcestershire sauce
2 cups brown sugar
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons seasoned salt
1 ½ teaspoons celery seed
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon chopped fresh basil leaves
5 pounds ground beef
1 onion, diced
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat the grill for high heat.
  • In a saucepan, mix the Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, seasoned salt, celery seed, Italian seasoning, and basil. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil and cook 1 minute.
  • In a large bowl, mix the sauce, ground beef, and onion. Form into burgers.
  • Lightly oil the grill grate. Place burgers on the grill, and cook 5 minutes per side, or until well done. Season with salt and pepper.

Our whole family loves foods spiced with picante sauce, so I developed this recipe! This dish is very quick and easy to make, and it also reheats well. Sometimes I add cooked, sliced potatoes to the stew for a little variety, too.

Number Of Ingredients 12

2 pounds ground beef
1-1/2 cups diced onion
1 can (28 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (15 ounces) pinto beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (15-1/4 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained
1 cup picante sauce, mild, medium or hot
3/4 cup water
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Salt to taste
Shredded cheddar cheese, optional

Steps:

  • In large skillet, cook beef and onions over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until heated through. Garnish with shredded cheddar cheese if desired.

1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chilies
4 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 pounds lean ground beef
3/4 pound bulk pork sausage
8 slices Monterey Jack cheese
8 hamburger buns, split, toasted
8 lettuce leaves
1 large tomato, sliced
1 to 2 ripe avocados, peeled and sliced
Mayonnaise or mustard, optional

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Crumble beef and sausage over mixture; mix well. Shape into eight patties. , Grill, covered, over medium heat for 5 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 160° and juices run clear. Top each burger with a cheese slice. , Grill 1-2 minutes longer or until cheese begins to melt. Serve on buns with the lettuce, tomato, avocado and mayonnaise or mustard if desired.
