Sweet Tea Mojito Recipes

SWEET TEA MOJITO

Steps:

• Steep 4 or 5 black tea bags, 2 cups turbinado sugar and 2 handfuls of fresh mint in 3 cups simmering water for 5 minutes, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Strain into a pitcher; add the juice of 3 limes, 1 1/2 cups light rum, 1 cup cold water and another handful of mint. Stir vigorously, crushing the mint with a wooden spoon; chill. Serve over ice with lime and more mint.

ASIAN SWEET TEA OR ASIAN MOJITO

Steps:

• In a cocktail shaker, add the basil and the sugar cube. Muddle them together in the bottom of the shaker until the basil is fragrant. Pour in the green tea, lime juice, rum and honey. Stir until well mixed. Carefully pour the mixture into a highball glass filled with ice. Garnish the cocktail with the lime wedge and a basil leaf.

MOJITO ICED TEA

Steps:

• Place 6 cups water, mint sprigs, slices of 1 lime, tea, lemon balm and peach with pit, if using, in a large bowl or pitcher. Let rest for at least 4 hours or preferably overnight. Strain into a clean pitcher and sweeten with sugar to taste. Stir in ice and serve garnished with mint sprigs and lime slices.
