1 c walnuts,pecans, almonds or cashews
1 egg (white)
1/2 c splenda
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Steps:

  • 1. spray jelly roll pan with pam. Combine all nuts in bowl mix in beaten egg whites,tossing to coat.
  • 2. Combine splenda and cinnamon over nuts tossing to coat. Spread evenly onto pan. Bake 30 minutes stirring every 10 minutes. cool and store in plastic container.

¾ cup pecan halves
¾ cup walnut halves
½ cup whole blanched almonds
2 egg whites, lightly beaten
16 packets Splenda® Stevia Sweetener
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300°F. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  • In a bowl, combine pecans, walnuts, and almonds. Add beaten egg whites, tossing to coat.
  • In another bowl, combine Splenda Sweetener, cinnamon, and salt. Sprinkle over nuts; toss to coat. Spread mixture evenly in prepared pan.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, until nuts are toasted. Cool completely.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees; spray a 15x10x 1-inch pan with cooking spray or line pan with release foil.
  • Combine pecans, walnuts, and almonds in a mixing bowl; add beaten egg white, toss to coat.
  • Combine splenda and cinnamon; sprinkle over nuts, toss to coat.
  • Spread mixture evenly into prepared pan.
  • Bake 30 minutes or until nuts are toasted, stirring every 10 minutes.
  • Cool on waxed paper; store in airtight container, enjoy.

These are great for the holidays. Good for a diabetic or low carb diet. I found this recipe on the internet.

Yield 1 pound nuts

Number Of Ingredients 6

1/2 cup sugar-free syrup (caramel or vanilla)
2 tablespoons sesame oil (or olive oil)
1 lb nuts, of choice
2 teaspoons Splenda sugar substitute
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Heat oil and sugar free syrup in a large skillet; stir while it heats.
  • Add nuts; cook over low heat stirring constantly until most of the liquid is absorbed.
  • Mix Splenda and spices together; sprinkle over nuts stir coating evenly.
  • Spread mixture into a release foil lined cookie sheet pan.
  • Bake at 300°F oven for 25 to 40 minutes time depends on type of nuts used--just be careful not to burn them.
  • Cool completely before indulging; store in covered container.
