SWEET & SPICY BACON DOGS
I have never met anyone (especially men) that did not LOVE this appetizer!

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut each hot dog into 4 equal pieces. Slice bacon into 4 equal pieces. Wrap each hot dog with bacon and insert toothpick. Lay all on foil covered baking sheet (you will need 2 sheets for full recipe).
- 2. Mix brown sugar and cayenne pepper. Sprinkle bacon wrapped hot dogs with brown sugar mixture. Bake for 30 minutes. Keep warm in crock pot and enjoy these sweet & spicy treats!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Stir together brown sugar, cayenne, and black pepper in a small bowl.
- Arrange bacon slices in l layer on a large broiler pan and bake in middle of oven (or upper third of oven if baking with eggs) 20 minutes. Turn slices over and sprinkle evenly with spiced sugar. Continue baking until bacon is crisp and brown, 15 to 20 minutes more, then transfer to paper towels to drain.

- Combine your BBQ sauce and crushed red pepper flakes in a small bowl. You will want to do this before you cook your hot dogs. It allows the flavors to come together.
- Grill Method - Prepare your grill as you normally would. Wrap one piece of bacon around each hot dog and place onto the grill. Turn over a couple of times because you do not want to burn the hot dogs.
- Oven Method - Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Wrap one piece of bacon around each hot dog and place onto a baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the bacon is done.
- While the hot dogs are cooking, cook the rest of the bacon (3 slices) in a pan. When the bacon is done and has fulled cooled, crush into smaller pieces.
