3 ounces uncooked angel hair pasta
1/2 pound boneless pork loin chops, cut into thin strips
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon canola oil, divided
1-1/2 cups cut fresh green beans
2 celery ribs, sliced
4-1/2 teaspoons chopped onion
3 tablespoons water
4 teaspoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
1 teaspoon butter

Steps:

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, sprinkle pork with salt and pepper. In a large nonstick skillet or wok coated with cooking spray, stir-fry pork in 1/2 teaspoon oil until no longer pink. Remove and keep warm., In the same pan, stir-fry the beans, celery and onion in remaining oil until crisp-tender. Add the water, soy sauce and reserved pork; heat through. Drain pasta; stir in butter until melted. Add pork mixture and toss to coat.

It can't get any easier than this. This is one of our all time favorite pork dishes, I've been making this for years.

Number Of Ingredients 12

4 thick pork steaks or 4 thick pork chops
1 tablespoon Emeril's Original Essence
2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
1/2 onion, sliced
1 tablespoon italian seasoning
1/8 teaspoon cayenne
1 clove garlic, minced
salt & pepper
1 cup red wine (or more if you like)
1 cup water
oil
pasta

Steps:

  • Season both sides of pork with the essence.
  • Heat oil in lge fry pan; saute onion& garlic until tender; add pork and brown on both sides.
  • Add 2 cans of tomato sauce, 1/2 soup can of red wine, 1/2 soup can of water, italian seasoning, cayenne and salt& pepper.
  • Bring to boil; then cover and simmer for 2 hours.
  • Serve over your favorite pasta.
