2 tablespoons onion powder
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
½ teaspoon dried parsley
½ teaspoon dried basil
¼ teaspoon dried oregano
⅛ teaspoon ground cumin
⅛ teaspoon dry mustard
1 pinch cayenne pepper
1 pinch dried rosemary
1 pinch celery seed

Steps:

  • Whisk garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, parsley, basil, oregano, cumin, mustard, cayenne pepper, rosemary, and celery seed together in a bowl.

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 1/4 teaspoons paprika
1/4 teaspoon curry powder
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon dill weed
1/2 teaspoon celery seed, crushed
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Steps:

  • Combine everything in a small food processor, mortar and pestle, or Flavor Shaker. Process until finely crushed and well blended.

I have a recipe my dad makes (Chipotle Baste in JAP) that puts Santa Fe seasoning on one side of thick cut pork chops and the baste on the other. Since Santa Fe blend is only available for sale during BBQ season, this is the next best option.
