TURKISH QUINCE DESSERT RECIPE BY TASTY

Steps:
- Place quince halves in a large saucepan with the cloves, cinnamon and the quince seeds.. Add honey and fill the pan with water till it covers the quince.
- Place the lid on top and let it simmer on low heat for 45 minutes.
- Let it cool in the fridge and serve it with pistachios and clotted cream.

TURKISH QUINCE DESSERT (AYVA TATLıSı)
Steps:
- Peel the quinces and slice them in half. Remove the hard core, but keep the seeds. Make sure you remove all the hard bits running through the middle, as these will never completely soften during cooking.
- Add the quince halves, quince seeds, sugar, cloves, cinnamon stick and 500 ml (2 cups) water to a wide, shallow pot. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat to low. Cook covered until the quinces are soft and the liquid has turned slightly red, 1-1½ hours. Turn the quince halves carefully from time to time to make sure they cook evenly, and add more water if necessary. Take off the heat and leave to cool completely.
- Serve topped with kaymak or clotted cream and pistachios (or see notes below for alternatives).

Steps:
- Peel and bias-slice plantains or bananas into 1/2-inch thick slices (about 2 cups).
- Melt margarine or butter in a large skillet.
- Add plantains or bananas to melted margarine or butter.
- Heat about 5 minutes for plantains (2 minutes for bananas) or just until warm & tender; gently stirring occasionally.
- Sprinkle with brown sugar. Stir gently until sugar melts.
- Carefully stir in vanilla & cinnamon.
- Sprinkle with nuts.
- Serve immediately with Crema Espesa.
- Crema Espesa:.
- In a small saucepan heat whipping cream over low heat until warm (90 degreesF to 100 degreesF).
- Pour the cream into a small bowl; stir in the buttermilk.
- Cover & let the mixture stand at room temperature for 24 to 30 hours. DO NOT STIR or until the mixture is thickened.
- Store in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Stir before serving.

Steps:
- Peel the quinces and cut them in half.
- Remove the seeds and keep them aside.
- Place the quinces in a saucepan or pan.
- Sprinkle sugar on top of them.
- Add water, quince seeds and cloves to the pan.
- Cook until quinces are soft.
- Remove the quinces from the pan.
- Add lemon juice to the syrup in the pan and cook for a few minutes.
- Remove seeds and cloves and cool.
- Pour it on the quinces.
- Keep them in the refrigerator for a few hours.
- Serve each quince with thick cream.
- If you want, add nuts over them.

- Wash and peel quinces. And then cut them into half and remove the seeds and their seed beds. (Do not discard the seeds and peels of quinces). Rub the peeled quince halves with the lemon juice to help quince not to turn dark color.
- Cut a thin slice at the bottom of each quince slightly to let their bottom to be flat so they stand still in the pan. Make ready the pomegranate juice and set a side.
- Place the quince halves in a way that the core side looking upward. Place the seeds and cloves evenly in the center of each quince halves.
- Spread the sugar evenly over the quince halves. Pour the 2 cups of water and pomegranate juice to the pan and put cinnamon stick in the pan and close the lid.
