Quick Brownie Mix Recipes

QUICK AND EASY BROWNIES

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch pan.
• Combine the melted butter, sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla, eggs, flour, baking powder, and salt. Spread the batter into the prepared pan. Decorate with walnut halves, if desired.
• Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with crumbs, not wet. Cool on wire rack.

QUICK BROWNIE MIX

Steps:

• In a large bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months., Brownie Mix may be used to prepare the following recipes (also found in Recipe Finder): Fudge Sauce, Walnut Brownies, Brownie Crinkles and Brownie Snack Cake.

EASY BROWNIE MIX COOKIES

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
• Combine brownie mix, flour, oil, water, eggs, and chocolate chips in a large bowl. Drop spoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto prepared baking sheet.
• Bake in preheated oven until cookies are just set, about 9 minutes. Let cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

BROWNIE MIX

Steps:

• In a 1 quart or 1 liter jar, layer the ingredients in the order listed. Pack down firmly after each addition.
• Attach a note with the following instructions: Brownie Mix 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch square pan. 2. In a large bowl, stir together 2 eggs, 2/3 cup oil, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Stir in the contents of the jar, and mix well. Spread evenly into the prepared pan. 3. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the brownies comes out clean. Cool, and cut into squares.
