Amazing Pork Chops in Cream Sauce image

Easy and quick pork chops cooked in whipping cream with mushrooms and white wine.

3 tablespoons butter
8 boneless pork chops
salt, to taste
ground black pepper, to taste
¾ cup white wine
¾ cup heavy cream
1 (8 ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms

Steps:

  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Season pork chops with salt and pepper, and arrange in a single layer in pan. Pan-fry for 2 minutes on each side to brown. Pour in wine, and continue cooking for 6 minutes. Remove chops from pan.
  • Pour cream into the skillet, and then add mushrooms. Increase heat to high; cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until sauce reduces and thickens. Return chops to pan to warm before serving.

These pork chops will melt in your mouth. They are very good and easy to assemble. They are first sauteed in butter, then baked in a creamy mushroom sauce.

4 (1 1/4 inch thick) pork chops
salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon butter
¾ cup milk
¼ cup water
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Season pork chops with salt and pepper to taste. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium high heat. Saute the pork chops in the butter for about 5 minutes per side.
  • In a separate medium bowl, combine the milk, water and soup. Place the pork chops in a 9x13 inch baking dish and pour the soup mixture over the chops.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 minutes.

This is wonderful! My whole family loves it. After the first review that I got for this recipe, saying that Potatoes O'Brien could not be bought in that location, I decided to add that if you can't find the Potatoes O'Brien in your store, they are easily made. I found one recipe right here, recipe #25545. Making them the day before works best, but they can also be made just prior to fixing this dish.

Number Of Ingredients 7

4 pork loin chops, 1/2-inch thick, with bone in
1/4 teaspoon seasoning salt (to taste)
1/2 cup sour cream
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup
1/4 teaspoon dried sage (to taste)
3 cups frozen cut green beans
1 1/2 cups o'brien frozen potatoes, with onions and bell peppers (from 24 oz package)

Steps:

  • Spray skillet with non stick spray.
  • Heat over medium high heat.
  • Sprinkle pork chops with seasoned salt, then cook 5 or 6 minutes until brown on both sides. Remove from pan and keep warm.
  • Combine sour cream, soup and sage, mix well.
  • Add to skillet, then stir in the frozen vegetables.
  • Place chops over vegetables, and press gently to seat.
  • Boil, then lower heat to medium-low. cover.
  • Cook 10 - 15 minutes. Pork chops should no longer be pink in the middle, and the vegetables should be tender. Stir occasionally.
  • Serve with rice or buttered noodles.

Pork Chops With Creamy Gravy image

A classic comfort food that I've made for my family the last 30 yrs. The pork chops are fork tender and the gravy is delicious rich and creamy!!

4-6 pork loin chops, trim excess fat
1/4 c butter
1 tsp vegetable oil, prevents butter from burning
4 Tbsp all purpose flour
1 tsp onion powder, or more as desired
2-3 c whole milk
1/2 tsp browning and seasoning sauce, opts.
salt and pepper, as desired

Steps:

  • 1. Season both sides of the pork chops with salt,pepper and onion powder. In a covered skillet, add oil and butter, melt over medium heat.
  • 2. Add pork chops and brown on both sides.
  • 3. Remove the pork chops from the pan, set aside.
  • 4. Add the flour to the pan, stirring until smooth. Cook about 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  • 5. Gradually add the milk, cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly.
  • 6. Stir in the salt, pepper, and onion powder. Taste to check the flavor and adjust the seasonings as you see fit.
  • 7. Add the pork chops back into pan, including the juices to gravy; covering the chops with gravy.
  • 8. Cover and simmer the pork chops about 45 minutes to 60 minutes (depending on thickness of meat). Occasionally, turn chops and stir the gravy to keep it from scorching. At this time, you can add more milk to thin out the gravy as you desire.
  • 9. When done cooking, the meat should be very tender. At this time you can add browning sauce, if you desire. Stir it in and simmer another 5 minutes. Serve pork chops and gravy with either rice or yummy mashed potatoes.
