SOUTH BEACH MEAT PIZZA
Never had this pizza...the picture is what is with the recipe and all I can say is wow...this is some heavy duty meat pizza.

Steps:
- 1. Brown extra lean ground beef.
- 2. Preheat oven to 350 F. Put beef in a large bowl & mix well with 2 cups of mozzarella cheese.
- 3. Spread mixture out like a pizza crust on a cookie sheet or a baking stone.
- 4. Put pizza sauce on the mixture. Top with 1-2 cups of shredded mozzarella. Top with low fat pepperoni slices, onions and peppers.
- 5. Cook 15 minutes or until top cheese starts to brown. Put foil on rack below to catch any drippings.

- Spread butter over bread slices. Place one slice in a sandwich iron, buttered side down. Spread with pizza sauce; sprinkle with 2 tablespoons cheese, pepperoni and, if desired, green pepper. Top with the remaining cheese and bread slice, buttered side up. Close iron., Cook over a hot campfire until golden brown and cheese is melted, 3-6 minutes, turning occasionally.

- Preheat oven to 350.
- Brown ground beef. Put beef in a large bowl & mix well with 2 cups of low-fat mozzarella cheese. Spread mixture out like a pizza crust on a cookie sheet or a baking stone.
- Put 1 cup pizza sauce on the mixture. Ragu is ok.(pizza sauce, no sugar in it.) Top with 1-2 cups of low-fat shredded mozzarella. Top with canadian bacon and or low fat pepperoni slices. I usually just use the canadian bacon. Optional toppings: onions, peppers, anything legal that you like on pizza. Cook 15 minute or so (when top cheese starts to brown it is done). Put foil on rack below to catch any drippings.

Steps:
- Pre heat oven to 450.
- spray a cookie sheet w/ non stick spray.
- Mix the cauliflower, flour, egg and cheese.
- Press into pan in a round shape.
- Sprinkle on the herbs.
- Bake 12- 15 minutes (15-20 if you double the recipe).
- Remove from oven add sauce and toppings (sausage, veggies etc).
- Bake until cheese melts.
ITALIAN PIZZERIA-STYLE MEAT PIE
This recipe was originally posted in my hometown Newspaper (Lawrence, MA), back in the 70s. The original recipe was lost, but with the help of my Mother, we've recreated it here. Note; the use of frozen bread dough is original to the authentic recipe.

Steps:
- Brown beef and pork.
- Add onions and Peppers and saute till onions are slightly browned. Add garlic and saute.
- Add all other ingredients except dough, and simmer till thickened.
- Roll out 1 loaf of dough to fit a lightly greased cookie sheet.
- Using a slotted spoon spread the meat mixture on top.
- Roll out the second loaf.
- Place this sheet on top and seal the edges.
- Poke a few vent holes in the crust.
- Brush the top completely with the fat drippings.
- Bake at the temp reccomended for the bread dough, till golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before cutting with a bread knife. (the inside will look slightly doughy).
