This is a tropical take on the traditional sangria, with the addition of pineapple and coconut rum. A summertime drink perfect for any party.

Ingredients

1 (750-milliliter) bottle white wine
1 medium orange, sliced into wedges
1 lemon, sliced into wedges
1 fresh pineapple , cut to your preference
1/4 cup sugar
4 cups ginger ale
1/2 cup coconut rum
Fresh mint sprigs, for optional garnish

Steps:

Pour wine into a large pitcher and squeeze the juice from the orange and lemon wedges into the white wine.
Toss in the citrus wedges (leaving out seeds if possible) and pineapple pieces; then add the sugar and chill overnight in the refrigerator.
Just before serving, add ginger ale, rum, and some ice. Garnish with mint, if using.

2 (750 milliliter) bottles Sauvignon Blanc
2 cups pineapple juice
1 cup triple sec
½ cup brandy
½ cup chopped fresh pineapple
½ cup chopped orange
1 lemon, seeded and chopped
¼ cup chopped lime
2 cups lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage (such as 7-Up®)

Steps:

Mix Sauvignon Blanc, pineapple juice, triple sec, and brandy together in a large pitcher. Add chopped pineapple, orange, lemon, and lime. Cover and refrigerate, 8 hours to overnight.
Stir in lemon-lime soda before serving.

I found a good sangria recipe and headed to the liquor store to purchase the alcohol. In line, ahead of me, was a man who said he has been a bartender for twenty years now, and that the recipe needed a few touch-ups if I wanted to make it like the Pros. So, here is what he professed to me, muchos thanks to the other submitters for their delicious versions.

Ingredients

1 orange
1 lemon
1 lime
1 medium all purpose apples, pared, cored and sliced
1 cup pitted cherries
1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
¾ cup brandy
1 (750 milliliter) bottle dry red wine
1 (12 ounce) can lemon-lime soda to taste
1 cup orange juice to taste

Steps:

Slice the orange, lemon, and lime into thin rounds. Place the citrus in a pitcher with the apples, cherries, and pineapple. Pour in the brandy and refrigerate for 2 hours of more. Chill the bottle of red wine, lemon-lime soda, and orange juice at the same time.
Gently crush the fruits with a spoon, then stir in the red wine, lemon-lime soda, and orange juice. Add additional brandy or orange juice to taste.

750 milliliter(s) bottle dry rriesling
6 ounce(s) 3/4 cup peach vidka
6 ounce(s) 3/4 cup canned pineapple juice
1/2 cup(s) agave nectar, light or amber
1 small navel orange, quartered lengthwise and thinly sliced
1 cup(s) bite-size pieces fresh pineapple
- club soda

Steps:

1. In a pitcher, stir the wine, vodka, pineapple juice and agave nectar until well mixed. Add the fruit and then refrigerate for at least 2 hours and up to 24 hours. Serve over ice, garnish with the fruit. Top off each glass with a splash of club soda. Makes about 8 cups.

1 bunch fresh mint, roughly chopped
1 orange, sliced

Steps:

In a pitcher, combine the juice, wine, brandy, pineapple, and soda with ice and stir. Pour into large wineglasses and garnish with the mint and orange.
