2 3/4 cups vanilla wafers, crushed
1/4 cup margarine, melted
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup nuts, chopped
1/4 cup orange juice, frozen and defrosted
2 tablespoons margarine
2 cups powdered sugar
milk, enough to make it spread

Steps:

  • Mix and shape into small balls with hands.
  • Then dip balls in butter icing.
  • Roll balls in coconut and store in air tight container.

6 oz frozen orange juice, thawed
3/4 c pecans, chopped
additional powdered sugar

Steps:

  • 1. Crush vanilla wafers. Mix with powdered sugar, melted butter, and orange juice.
  • 2. Add nuts.
  • 3. Shape into one inch balls and roll in powdered sugar or coconut. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

12 ounces vanilla wafer cookies, crushed
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1/4 cup butter, room temperature
1/2 cup orange juice concentrate, thawed
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
sifted confectioners' sugar or coconut, for coating

Steps:

  • Combine cookie crumbs and 1 cup confectioners' sugar.
  • blend in butter.
  • Stir in orange juice concentrate and add vanilla and nuts.
  • Shape mixture into balls about the size of walnuts.
  • Shake in food storage bag with sifted confectioners' sugar or coconut.
  • Arrange orange balls in single layer on waxed paper-lined cookie sheet and store uncovered overnight in refrigerator for best flavor.
