This orange honey butter is perfect on cornbread alongside chili but also makes a great edible gift!

Ingredients

1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, softened
zest of one large orange
2 tablespoons honey

Steps:

Blend ingredients together using fork. Store in the fridge but soften before use.

Ingredients

1/2 cup orange blossom honey
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 teaspoon orange zest
1/4 teaspoon lemon zest

Steps:

Combine all ingredients in a medium size bowl.
Beat with a mixer until well blended; this will take about 2 or 3 minutes.
Store in refrigerator for up to a week.
To serve - bring to room temperature and stir just before serving.

1/2 cup butter, softened (125ml)
2 tablespoons honey (30 mls)
1 tablespoon orange juice (15 mls)
grated zest of one orange

Steps:

Mix all ingredients in a bowl or food processor, until thoroughly combined.
Transfer to a ramekin or small serving dish and refrigerate for about 10 minutes.

Place the whipping cream, honey, orange zest, and salt into a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, and turn the mixer on as high as you can go without splattering cream everywhere (medium high for me). It will take about 10 minutes to take your whipping cream to the butter stage. Let’s break it down.
After a couple more minutes, the mixture will start to clump up, and by the 7 or 8 minutes mark, the butter will really separate from a liquid that collects at the bottom of the bowl. This is true buttermilk!
Once the butter has clumped up, scoop it out from the bowl and form it into whatever shape you like. I usually use a disher to portion it out into little balls. Spread it on pancakes, muffins, toast, whatever your heart desires. Enjoy!!!
