You can make this with plain cheerios or honey nut. My mom wants to try making it with chocolate cheerios.

Steps:
- 1. In a large saucepan, heat brown sugar, syrup and butter until sugar disolves.
- 2. Stir in cereal and nuts and mix well.
- 3. Spread into a greased 15x10x1 inch pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes and stir to loosen from the pan.
- 4. Cool completely and store in an airtight container.

Bake at 325° for 15 minutes. , Cool for 10 minutes; stir to loosen from pan. Cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
