I love the peanut butter in these wonderful cookies. My friend Jenn makes these for herhusband. One day She bought me a half a dozen corn flake cookies and I loved them. I had to have the recipe and I tryed it and it was easy.

Ingredients

1 cup peanut butter
1 cup white corn syrup
1 cup granulated sugar
5 1/2 cups corn flakes

Steps:

In a large sauce pan combine corn syrup and sugar.
Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
Stir in the peanut butter.
Add the corn flakes.
Stir until corn flakes are covered with syrup mixture.
Drop tablespoons on wax paper.

Ingredients

3 cups corn flakes-crushed
1 cup crunchy peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup white corn syrup
6 ounces chocolate chips

Steps:

1. Heat peanut butter, sugar and corn syrup over low heat to melt. Stir in cereal.
2. Pat into a 8x8 lightly greased pan.
3. Melt chocolate chips over low heat or in the microwave and spread over top. Cool until firm.

This is a quick recipe I devised for the snack table at the school's monthly Parent Club meeting. The kids love these!

Ingredients

4 cups corn flakes
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup mini marshmallows

Steps:

Place corn flakes and marshmallows in a large bowl. Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler or in a microwave. Do not overheat or you will cause the chocolate to "break" (separate). Pour into the bowl and stir until everything is evenly coated. Scoop out individual portions with 2 teaspoons or a small ice cream scoop. Place on wax paper-lined cookie sheet and refridgerate until set, 5-10 minutes. Store in covered container.

I have been making these incredibly easy, sweet treats since I was a kid, and I still LOVE THEM! I don't do the add-ins 'cause I think they are great without them. One tip: try to work fairly quickly after removing from heat because the mixture gets harder to work with as it cools. Having all the ingreds. pre-measured before starting makes this a lot easier. This is a great treat

1 cup sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 1/3 cups creamy peanut butter or 1 1/3 cups crunchy peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 cups corn flakes
raisins (Optional)
peanuts (Optional)
coconut (Optional)

Steps:

Heat sugar and corn syrup in large saucepan until mixture reaches a boil.
Remove from heat.
Mix in peanut butter and vanilla; combine well.
Stir in corn flakes and desired add-ins.
Shape into small mounds (about 1 inch) on waxed paper to cool.
