2/3 cup Miracle Whip light, dressing
4 tablespoons flour
2 cups 1% low-fat milk (I use whatever I have)
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 cup fresh mushrooms, quartered (or use 1 can drained)
1/4 cup dry red wine
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (or 2 tsp. dried)
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 (14 ounce) can stewed tomatoes (optional)

Steps:

  • Mix salad dressing and flour; gently whisk in milk until smooth.
  • Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, until sauce is thick.
  • Set aside.
  • Brown beef.
  • Drain and rinse under hot water to get rid of extra fat.
  • Cook onions and mushrooms until onion is soft.
  • Drain and add back to pan along with beef.
  • Add sauce, basil, oregano, parsley, red wine, worcestershire sauce, and tomatoes.
  • Heat to blend flavors.
  • Serve over rice or noodles.

1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 chopped onion
1 (10 ounce) can mushrooms or 10 ounces fresh mushrooms
2 garlic cloves
1 (10 ounce) can mushroom soup
1/3 cup water
2 tablespoons Miracle Whip
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Brown ground beef.
  • Add onions and cook until the onions are clear.
  • Add mushrooms, continue cooking.
  • After the mushrooms are warm add the minced garlic and continue cooking on low.
  • Add soup and water, mix and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • Add miracle whip and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve over noodles.

1 (4 ounce) can mushroom pieces
2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can milk (use soup can)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 (8 ounce) package wide egg noodles

Steps:

  • Cook egg noodles according to directions.

4 slices bacon, diced (Mesquite smoked works best)
1/2 cup onion, coarsely chopped
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup sour cream

Steps:

  • Melt 1-2 T. Butter Flavor CRISCO in a large frypan.

1 onion, chopped

1 lb ground beef (or 1/2 and 1/2) or 1 lb ground turkey (or 1/2 and 1/2)
1 garlic clove, minced
