The bountiful potluck at our annual family reunion includes favorites such as this salad. You can substitute Italian dressing or another type to give this dish a twist.-Barb Hausey, Independence, Missouri

- In a large salad bowl, combine the first nine ingredients. Drizzle with dressing and toss to coat. Stir in cheese and corn chips. Serve immediately.

- Combine pasta, fruit and vegetables in a large bowl; set aside. Mix together remaining ingredients until smooth. Add to pasta mixture, tossing to coat. Chill until serving time. Tip: Slip bottles of water in the freezer...when frozen, pack inside the picnic cooler. They'll keep foods fresh and as they melt, you'll have lots of chilled water for quenching thirsts.
