MALIBU CHICKEN RECIPE (SIZZLER COPYCAT)
This Malibu Chicken Recipe is the perfect easy weeknight dinner! Chicken breast is dipped in butter, coated in Italian breadcrumbs, and topped with ham and Swiss cheese for a delicious and simple dinner idea!

- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with tin foil. Place an oven safe rack inside your tray on top of the cookie sheet. Set aside.
- Slice your chicken in half lengthwise giving you two thin chicken pieces.
- Whisk together the butter and 2 tablespoons of Dijon in a shallow bowl.
- Whisk together the Italian breadcrumbs and Parmesan in a separate shallow bowl.
- Dip your chicken into the butter mixture followed by the breadcrumbs. Make sure to coat evenly.
- Transfer to your prepared cookie sheet. Bake 20 to 30 minutes or until your chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees. Flip halfway through for even cooking.
- Top the chicken with a slice of ham followed by a slice of cheese. Bake an additional 3-5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
- Combine all of the ingredients for the dipping sauce in a small bowl. Mix until combined. Serve with the chicken.

SIZZLER'S MALIBU CHICKEN

- Combine Egg Yolk and garlic and pour into plastic bag. Place chicken inside of bag, seal shut making sure no extra air is inside, and make sure the chicken gets coated with egg yoke/garlic mixture. Place in fridge and marinate chicken for 4 hours.
- In a medium bowl, mix Panko, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper and dump evenly in the bottom of a 9 X 13 baking dish.
- Remove chicken from bag, place chicken in baking dish. Coat chicken with mixture and bake at 350 degrees F and depending on the size of your chicken breasts, cook for 40 minutes to one hour or until chicken is cooked through. Monitor it starting at 40 minutes.
- Place one slice of ham and one slice of swiss cheese over the top of each piece of chicken and bake additional two minutes until cheese is melted.
- Malibu Dipping Sauce - Combine Grey Poupon mustard, Mayo, yellow mustard and honey in small bowl. Stir to make sure all ingredients are evenly combined. Use to dip chicken inches Enjoy!

Steps:
- Stir egg and 1 tablespoons water together with a fork.
- Combine flour, salt and pepper and coat each chicken piece, dip into egg mixture and then coat with breadcrumbs making sure to press crumbs in firmly.
- Heat oil and butter in large skillet over medium heat.
- Brown chicken 4 to 5 minutes on each side.
- Place browned chicken on cookie sheet or oven proof platter, top each piece with a slice of ham and slice of cheese.
- Bake at 350 degrees, until cheese melts.
- For the dipping sauce combine mustard and mayonnaise.
MALIBU STYLE CHICKEN MY WAY
When I was younger we always went to this diner every friday for dinner that had awesome malibu chicken. They closed down and I was determined to replicate what they made. This is simple to do promise.

- 1. Garlic salt you chicken as to your likeing. Cook your 5 chicken breast in the oven on the normal temp setting and cooking time. 10 mins before your chicken is finished take it out of the oven and top each of the chicken with 2 slices of ham and one slice of baby swiss cheese. Return to oven for 10 mins or until cheese is melted.
- 2. Malibu sauce: In a small mixing bowl mix the mayo and mustard together.
- 3. Serve the warm chicken and dip it in the malibu sauce.

MALIBU STUFFED CHICKEN RECIPE

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spread 1 Tablespoon of mustard over each flattened chicken breast. Cover each with a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese. Place a small amount of pineapple in the center of each.
- Roll chicken, with the pineapple in the middle, and secure with toothpicks.
- Brush the chicken with the remaining mustard.
- Roll the chicken bundles in the bread crumbs, and place in a greased 9 x 9 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes. Remove toothpicks before serving.
- Combine the can of cream of chicken soup and sour cream in a small bowl. You can microwave the mixture until it's heated through, serve it cold, or warm it up in a small saucepan on medium low heat.Pour over chicken.
