SANGRIA SLUSHIE
Consider this sangria 2.0. Your favorite Spanish beverage has gone slushy thanks to some clever homemade red wine ice cubes and a blender. It's your new favorite summertime drink -- step aside daiquiris.

SANGRIA SLUSH
Mix this up in the morning before you leave for work. When you get home in the evening, take it from the freezer and let it thaw slightly while you change clothes or start dinner. Especially refreshing on hot summer evenings.

BLONDE SANGRIA
When I lived in Spain and we had "office parties" I was always asked to bring the Sangria. While most Sangria is made with red wine, I like white better - we had one called Diamante, mmm. After tweaking the recipe each time, I think it's a really good one now. Since I'm a blonde, they called it blonde Sangria made by La Rubia!

- Mix all liquid ingredients with the ice into a punch bowl, then add the fruit.
- Stir, serve up, and enjoy, but be careful, it sneaks up on you, but it tastes sooo good! Also good to add champagne instead of wine.

LOVE IS BLONDE SANGRIA SLUSH
My fun-girl bridge group came over last night for snacks, dessert, cocktails, and---oh, yes, cards, of course! As the weather has been H-O-T as the hammered hinges of Hell lately, I wanted to serve something cool and refreshing. I found a recipe for "white sangria" in my file, no idea of source, and fiddled with it (omitting the cup of sugar, for one thing; the lemonade concentrate is already sugary enough!) until I achieved this "Absolut" stunner of a summer beverage. Cheers, y'all!
