ITALIAN-STYLE STUFFED PEPPERS
Stuffed peppers take on an Italian feel with the help of Classico® Fresh Tomato & Basil Sauce, Italian sausage, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasonings. It's comfort food kicked up a notch--and gluten free!

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a roasting pan (large enough to accommodate 8 pepper halves in a single layer) with cooking spray.
- Combine the ground sirloin, Italian sausage, brown rice, Italian seasonings, salt, pepper, garlic, Parmesan cheese, egg, and 1/2 cup Classico® Tomato & Basil sauce in a large bowl. Mix until combined.
- Divide meat mixture evenly among the green pepper halves; press to compress slightly. Arrange halves in prepared pan. Spoon the remaining Classico® Tomato & Basil sauce onto the tops of the meat and peppers. Cover tightly with foil.
- Bake until the peppers are soft and internal temperature of the meat reaches 165 degrees F, about 1 1/2 hours.
- Remove from oven. Remove foil and top each pepper with shredded cheese.
- Turn oven to broil. Place peppers, uncovered under the broiler. Broil until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 5 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley.

- In a small bowl, combine the basil, garlic powder and pepper. In a large skillet, saute the zucchini, tomatoes, onion and 1 teaspoon spice mixture in 1/2 teaspoon oil until zucchini is crisp-tender. Remove and keep warm. , Sprinkle the remaining spice mixture over cube steaks. In the same skillet, cook steaks in remaining oil over medium heat for 1-2 minutes on each side or until no longer pink. - Pound steaks to 1/4-in. thickness. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt and pepper. Place in a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Spoon salad dressing over steaks. Cover and chill for 1 hour. , In a large saucepan, combine the vegetables, broth and remaining salt. Cover and cook over medium heat for 6-8 minutes or until tender. Drain, reserving liquid. , Spoon 1/4 cup vegetable mixture onto each steak; roll up and secure with toothpicks. In a large nonstick skillet, brown meat rolls in oil on all sides. Cover and simmer for 35-40 minutes or until meat is tender. Remove with a slotted spoon; keep warm. , Combine cornstarch and reserved cooking liquid until smooth; stir into pan drippings. Steps:
- In a large resealable plastic bag, place the cube steak, flour, salt, and pepper. Seal, and shake to coat.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, and brown the cube steak.
- Reduce heat to low, and mix in the tomatoes, tomato sauce, onion, and Italian seasoning.
- Cover, and simmer at least 1 hour, stirring once.
- Place the zucchini in the skillet, and coat with the tomato sauce.
- Continue to simmer uncovered 10 minutes, or until zucchini is tender.
