SRIRACHA HONEY ROASTED BROCCOLI

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 large head of broccoli (cut into bite size pieces, about 6 cups worth)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 tablespoon honey
1-2 teaspoons sriracha (adjust to your preference)
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons sliced almonds
1 green onion (thinly sliced, about 2 tablespoons)

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Line a baking sheet with a slipat mat or foil. In a small bowl or measuring cup, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, sriracha and pepper. Pour this mixture over the broccoli and toss well to coat.
  • Spread the broccoli across the lined baking sheet. Place on the middle oven rack and roast for 8-12 minutes, until the broccoli is tender and the edges are turning brown.
  • Remove the broccoli from the oven and transfer to a bowl. Toss with the green onions and the almonds and serve hot. Enjoy!

nonstick aluminum foil
2 tablespoons honey mustard
2 tablespoons olive oil
½ teaspoon salt
2 large heads broccoli, cut into small florets

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with nonstick aluminum foil.
  • Mix honey mustard, olive oil, and salt together in a bowl. Add broccoli and toss to coat. Spread onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until broccoli is tender and lightly charred in spots, 25 to 30 minutes.

2 heads broccoli stems removed and cut into florets
2 Tbsp. butter* melted, or olive oil
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 Tbsp. soy sauce** gluten-free
1 Tbsp. honey*
1 clove garlic crushed
½ tsp. salt to taste
1/8 tsp pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Combine butter, oil, soy sauce, honey, crushed garlic, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Whisk to combine. Place broccoli florets in a gallon-sized zip-top bag. Add honey-soy sauce and toss until well combined. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Spread broccoli out evenly on sheet. Bake in preheated oven for 14-16 minutes. Enjoy! Recipe Notes *Used brown rice syrup in place of honey and avocado oil instead of butter and olive oil.

2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon honey
1 -2 teaspoon sriracha sauce (adjust to your heat preference)
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
2 tablespoons sliced almonds (TOASTED)
1 green onion (thinly sliced, about 2 tablespoons)

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
  • Line a baking sheet with a slipat mat, foil, or parchment paper.
  • Place broccoli pieces into a large bowl.
  • In a small bowl, or measuring cup, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, olive oil, honey, sriracha and pepper.
  • Pour this mixture over the broccoli and toss well to coat.
  • Spread the broccoli across the lined baking sheet. Place on the middle oven rack and roast for 8-12 minutes, until the broccoli is tender and the edges are turning brown.
  • Remove the broccoli from the oven and transfer to a serving bowl, or tray. Toss with the green onions and toasted almonds.
  • Serve hot!
  • Makes 2-4 servings.
