DOG BISCUITS

HOMEMADE DOG TREATS (TANGO'S TREATS)
My dogs--especially my puppy, Tango Foxtrot--loved carrots, apples, and peanut butter. So, for his first birthday, I combined Tango's favorite flavors into a special treat just for him. Make sure to use a natural peanut butter that does not contain added salt, sugar, or other ingredients. Keep extra treats stored in the fridge.

- Preheat your oven to 350˚F. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed banana and peanut butter. Slowly add the oat flour and continue to knead until it forms a thick dough.
- As you’ll see in my video guide above, I use a well greased mini muffin tin to bake these biscuits. You could also roll the dough onto a floured surface until it’s about 1/4″ thick. Cut the dough into small pieces with cookie cutters or a pizza cutter, and bake them on a well greased cookie sheet.
- You could also roll the dough into 1″ balls and flatten them on the cookie sheet to make a simple, round biscuit. No matter what shape you make them, bake the biscuits for about 15 minutes. You’ll know they are done when the tops are cracked and the bottoms turn a golden brown color.
